Hi all, I am new poster here but a long time lurker. I've been searching all over the internet for an oatmeal cookie recipe but so far I haven't found any. There is an Oatmeal Cookie with Raisins but I do not like the raisin flavor. I simply want a mild, smooth Oatmeal cookie flavor.

I did find a recipe for an Oatmeal Cookie cocktail mix:

1/2 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
1/2 oz DeKuyper® Buttershots liqueur
1/2 oz DeKuyper® Hot Damn cinnamon schnapps

Is this something I can work with? I don't really see how this would taste like oatmeal cookie but how would I translate this to an eliquid recipe for vaping?

Thank you all for your help.

4% cookie (FA)
4% brown sugar (TFA)
2% cinnamon danish swirl (TFA)
1% oats (fruitexpress) you can get this from ecigexpress
1% em
1 drop AP per 10ml

This recipe is really very good without the oats also, as it isn't something most people have on hand. If you drop the oats and the AP it's a pretty passable snickerdoodle.

I would try to add some TFA (The Flavor Apprentice/Perfumer's Apprentice) Brown Sugar or molasses to Cinnamon Sugar Cookie and maybe some coconut or bavarian cream to give it some body. Not sure how I would replicate oatmeal. It won't surprise me if there is an oatmeal flavoring, though.

ETA: Great minds think alike! I was searching for oatmeal flavoring & was beaten to the punch, er, cookie. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Two thumbs up on using FA Cookie in such a recipe. Others aren't the right flavor for oatmeal cookies. FA's Walnut is another flavor I'd include. Brown Sugar (TFA, I guess). I'd try a bit of FA's Custard for the sugar/egg/butter ingredients. Not sure whose cinnamon I'd use, probably Cinnamon Ceylon from FA, which is a complete spice flavor and doesn't dominate recipes. TFA's Molasses has a light, true flavor, and I might give that a shot if the brown sugar is too dry.

I didn't know there was an oat flavor - woo-hoo! Grab that one!
Hardimen - I hope you'll report back on your results! I'd especially like to hear about that oat flavor.

Wow! Thanks for the recipe. What is AP flavor? Also, I don't have Brown Sugar. I have all the other flavors though. Is there anything I can substitute for Brown Sugar like sweetener Caramel or Butterscotch? What about AP - any substitute for that? Of course I'll order both but for I wanted to see if I can make a batch right now. :)

Sotolon (maple sugar) is probably the closest thing to Brown sugar but there is no direct substitute. It adds a richness of brown sugar without the sweetness where other sugar type flavors are actually sweet and have soft fruity notes. AP is Acetyl Pyrazine which adds a nutty flavor which the closest thing to it might be Pecan or Black Walnut. The Pecan smells similar while the Walnut seems much sweeter although taste wise both are used in many Oat cereals so you can't go wrong. It may not get you Oatmeal Cookie but there are plenty of other ways to enjoy Oats.

So I finally got the flavors that I was missing, Brown Sugar and Acetyl Pyrazine and proceeded to make a 10ml batch using the recipe provided by jgoss. The juice has only steeped for around 2 days when I tasted it. Verdict - the cinnamon is overpowering. Perhaps it will settle down with a little bit more time. Maybe I'll do a batch without the cinnamon flavor, I really don't like this flavor too much.

The cinnamon was overpowering? That is usually a very very mild cinnamon for me, and 2% should melt right into the background. Be sure to shake the crap out of your flavoring bottle. I guess taste can also be subjective as they say lol. Leaving the cin out would be fine, as my recipe isn't a hard and fast one. The AP might also need adjusted but probably don't go over 2 drops.
