Hi all, I've used the search function for this question and googled it also, but I can not find an answer... I tried to post this in an appropriate forum but these silly restrictions make me post here.

Does anyone know if the KangerTech E-Smart BCC can be rebuilt? I'm just trying to find the most economical way to vape, and I don't have a lot of money to buy a rba.

I love these tanks, but the coil heads cost me around $3 each, and I vape 3-4 ml per day so I go through about 2 coil heads per week.

I saw health cabin has them at a crazy cheap price, but shipping takes about 3 weeks. Just wondering if I can get more bang for my buck outta these things. Any advice is much appreciated, Thank You!!:)

let me quote from a vendor

One tiny thing to look out for though...

Don't try and unscrew the coil head from the base, cos it's built in!
I foolishly tried unscrewing one until I realised/ remembered... Doh! Blushsmiley

If you can't unscrew the coil from the base, are you buying the complete base?... in which case, unless you can disassemble, you can't rebuild.

I have not found one video oh how to do it. Usually if it's possible someone has done a video. Looking at it I'd say not. You may want to move to a BDC like the aerotank. I use to use Protanks and moved to the dual coil BDC's like the PT3's an aerotank and Nautilus. The heads on the PT3s and Aerotanks and Aerotank mega's are interchangable. The PT3 heads are easy to rebuild. But you need to do something that many videos and etc forget to do. USE NR-R-NR Wire a precut R resistance wire with NR no resistance (low res) silver wire ends. Using regular res wire will cause the insulators to burn and you lose some of the wattage in wasted heat.

you can clean them. remove the drip tip. gently remove the metal cap from the top from the coil assembly with a small needle nose plier. this will expose the coil and wick. gently rinse under water as best you can. place the parts in a small container with hot soapy water. let set for a couple of hours or adjust soaking time as necessary. re-rinse and shake out all the water you can. set out to dry. i use a small fan and place them in front for faster drying. some prefer vodka or rubbing alcohol as a cleaning agent. depending on the juice used in the tank there may still be slight discoloration and or aftertaste. you may have to use the same flavor juice when re-filling. dry burn the coil before re-assembly. modify your procedure as you feel necessary.
