I've been searching long and hard and in the process wasted a lot of money
trying to find ejuice that doesn't have an artificial after taste.

I know...it sounds ironic since nearly all ejuice is artificial flavor.

I have tried a few different vendors here, I've also tried making
it myself with Loran and a few others....the result is the same.
ok to downright terrible flavorings that all have "that" after taste.

There's only one ejuice maker I'm aware of that NONE of their
flavors have the after taste.

Janty.

I've had RY4, Chocolate, Grape, Cherry and tobacco. oh and Menthol (for somebody else)

none of them have it.

What's the big secret?

Does anyone else hear and experience what I'm saying?

Janty often has problems keeping a steady supply and the cost
is twice as much. I'd like to try other ejuice but ones that taste
good like Janty.

Anyone fond of Janty chocolate know of a good alternative?
Cigeasy used to do pre-filled gocarts with chocolate and it
was excellent, but he doesn't have it available.

Forevervapor (formerly Vaportalk, has really good Grape Soda that tastes
close enough to Janty Grape..

any suggestions very much appreciated.
PG (no VG) preferred.

Hmm, I have had juices before with an aftertaste, but what you are describing may be different. It could be an additive to the juice like the "wizards" I've seen on the DIY sites or it could be artificial sweetener also. Could be their base. I know most vendors won't list all of the ingredients in the juice but you might ask them to see what is in it.

Mostly I experience "tones" that are in a juice and I notice in some vendors it's in every single flavor. I don't care for strange, off, chemical, perfume tones in my juice. After steeping did it still have the aftertaste? For some reason when you mention aftertaste I automatically think artifical sweetener....may not be correct but I can taste them.

I recommend you try Highbrow Vapor: E Cig Juice @ *_Highbrow Vapor_* - E Liquid Store, Shop our Store for Ecig Products.

Their juices are all natural extractions, and totally customizable as to PG/VG, extra or added flavors, etc.

I get NO aftertaste from Bryan's juices at all.

You might also try Vigin Vapor: Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

This juice is completely organic, and while Annette is known for her all-VG juice, each juice is actually customizable as to PG/VG mix, extra flavor, etc.

And finally, you could try Vermillion River ( Welcome to Vermillion River Premium E-Juice ) and Darth Vapers (Darth Vapers - Electronic Cigarettes)

All great vendors, great juices, all with Suppliers' Threads here on ECF. :)

HTH.

Thanks for the suggestions.

It's kinda hard to describe....synthetic/artificial is the closest word that comes to mind.
You taste whatever the flavor is then you taste the synth/artificial. I don't know how
anyone could stand it unless they haven't tried a liquid that doesn't have it. And tastes
do differ person to person.

I once tried some plain PG without nic or flavoring when I attempted diy.....it's not in it.
Definitely the flavorings causing it.

If anyone chimes in that has vaped Janty juices please feel free to comment.

I like the highbrow site....reminds me of trader joes. :)

I went straight for the chocolate and read this: (very promising)

"Our promise to you is this: You will not receive an overly sweet, bland, artificial or chemically tasting product."

"Tones" is a more accurate description now that I think about it.
I can tell right away when I try a new ejuice vendor/flavor. And I always have the same sense of disappointment when the ejuice is "off tone." LOL

ya, I let it sit for weeks....still tastes the same.

I really hope you enjoy Highbrow's juice . . . but I (the self-appointed Official ECF Steep Nazi) strongly urge you to let it steep for at least 10-14 days!!

My new motto (I'm not sure if you ever saw the TV show "Seinfeld": if not, this won't make a lick of sense to you!:blush:):

STEEP! STEEP! STEEP! OR NO JUICE FOR YOU!! The-Soup-Nazi-seinfeld-14695809-1280-800.jpg

lol Eleanor

borjis, I really think it might be artificial sweetener, you don't have to name the vendors but how many different vendors did you experience this with? just 1 or 2? or more? Were they sweet juices/fruits mainly? I know some line of flavorings used are very artificial tasting, like, strawberry comes out more to be like um, powdered kool-aid...that kind of thing.

I get most of my juice from Mister-E-Liquid and haven't experienced any bad or chemical after-taste. Reasonable prices and excellent juice. VAPETV for 10% off ;) ...., RY4, Grey Matter, Peach Melba are all great.. And if you enjoy menthol the Ice Collection cant be beat :D
