Hi...Im kinda new to this, coupla weeks now so I want to ask what anyone vapes and why? I have tried 100%PG, 80/20 and 100%VG.... the VG gives me more vape (which I like) and the PG recently seems to give me a harsher(very harsh at times) hit.

I got some juice from GV the other day and it seams real harsh its 80/20 and gives me very little vapor.
I have read that letting it steep will help with flavor? will it also help with the smoothness? how long should it steep and in what conditions? I also got some 100% VG from JC and like it alot. (red oak sample pack) and I will say that most of the 80/20 I got from GV are fruitish flavors... is what I am experiencing normal... just looking for any/everyones input.

TIA

In general, more VG equals more vapor and less harshness. More PG makes for a thinner mix and more harshness. That harshness is sometimes equated with throat hit, and preferred by some. Others prefer a smoother vape. Higher concentrations of VG also seem to go better with some flavors because the vape seems sweeter. The amount of vapor does sometimes vary by manufacturer, though, regardless of the mix. Steeping will have an effect on some flavors, but doesn't do much for the harshness.

What you are experiencing, a variation among different vendors, is pretty normal. It sometimes takes a number of trials before you hit on the juice that really suits you.
