Overcharged batteries.. how can i drain them?

7 volts is the main problem, otherwise you could devise a way to light a bulb and let it burn off the excess charge down to the voltage you need. 12v auto bulbs will do it as will any incandescent 100v bulb. You just need a resistance across the poles to drain some power. I'd try a 12v auto bulb and devise a way to connect the wires ... maybe a battery holder of some sort.

Bulbs might be better than blowing an atty. I'm not familiar with those batts, just spouting generalized info.

thanks for the info dave. hm, i have a couple HV atomizers i have lieing around that i don't care much for that i can use to lower the voltage..

i guess another concern of mine is.. is it dangerous in any other way because i over charged the batteries? as in, is there any risk of em blowin up? usually i'm pretty careful but totally forgot bout em this time
