Other names for the Joye 510

The Joye 510, produced by Shenzen Joye Technology in China, is also known as (depending on supplier):

The Dura - (automatic battery) from Janty

The Dura-C - (manual switch battery) from Janty

The Yeti

The TECC 510 Titan (also refered to as The Titan)

(I've also heard it called The Gorilla, but I don't know who sells that version)

Don't know if it counts, but I've seen the Joye 510 with manual batteries also referred to as the 510-C, maybe just to align with the Dura-C?

Sounds right. I've been told by several here the differance tween the 510-C and Dura-C is the Janty branding only. Like GMC/Chevy..

I've received Dura atomizers from Janty that have their logo and that don't. I've received Dura-C batteries from Janty that have their logo and that don't. I believe a Janty Dura is a Joye 510 with a Janty logo on it... but if Joye is out of the logo version, they send the non-logo Joye to Janty. If anyone knows for a fact that this is not true, I'd love to hear it. I do certainly wonder how Janty can keep track of what they are warrantying when they send out both versions?

Thanks for that... makes sense. It's funny now that several US suppliers refer to the black 510 as the Yeti, based on that info... 8-o

On this forum, you will also see the 510 referred to sometimes as the 501... I'm not really sure why, other than the fact that the other famous e-cigs are the 901, 801 and 401. I've even seen MrKrinkle refer to it as the 501... naughty MrKrinkle!

I don't see any 510 on that site, all they are selling at the moment is the KR808D-1 (Vapor King / Nebula / etc.)

I did that intially too. I think you are right about the reason behind it. At first I attributed it to my dislexic fingers! 8-o
