The box was sent to me by sourcemore for a review, thank you.

The "S" becomes part of the Cube family, this is a single Battery Mod that delivers a rated power from 5 to 80 W.
It is powered by a single 18650 cell and adopts an upgraded and more stable chipset than in the past, the delivery speed is lightning fast, only 0.001s.

The 0.96 "OLED screen allows you to easily read the parameters of the device and the multiple protections guarantee a safe vaping experience.

The cardboard packaging shows on the front, the name of the Brand, the name of the product and shows two different profiles of the Mod.

On the back there are the contents, the main features, some warnings, the manufacturer's addresses and the inevitable logos & brands.

On the side we find the scratch & check, the QR-Code with the invitation to check the originality of the product on the OBS website, the color indication of this sample and two "social" QR-Codes.

The new Cube-S is designed to be ergonomic, has a compact body, is smooth and comfortable without sharp edges, the frame is made of zinc alloy, the removable panel is made of plastic material covered in leather.

The palm of the hand directly touches the leather surface which provides good tactile feedback. The materials used make the device beautiful and durable, resistant to scratches and sweat.

My Sample uses two different colors for the leather insert, the brown part bears the hot-branded Cube-s writing.

On this side we see the black leather insert and the external frame in plastic material which houses (as on the other side) two fake French screws, purely ornamental.

The Up / Down adjustment buttons are placed laterally, directly on the frame.

The control panel is enclosed within an elegant metal frame that surrounds; a large circular activation button, a 0.96 "color display and a USB Type-C port.

The back of the mod is characterized by the two flaps of leather that join with a pleasant and sturdy double stitching.

The 510 pin is spring loaded and is inserted inside a cup held to the mod by two torx screws.
Thanks to the particular shape of the area around the cup, it is possible to use different diameters of atomizers (from 22 to 26mm) with a good aesthetic result.

The bottom of the mod is made of zinc alloy, shows the following writing; Designed By OBS, made in China, C E brand, disposal logo.

The removable panel has a rather large magnet in the upper internal part, while in the lower area it has a smaller one on the edge (indicated by the arrow).
Of course, these two magnets are mirrored to those found on the Mod.

The battery compartment of the Cube-S is an integral part of the frame, it uses a useful lace to facilitate the extraction of the 18650 cell that powers the Mod, the slot is marked in the polarity.

The two elements once joined, show a good structural solidity without particular defects or annoying movements.

The 0.96 "OLED color screen offers good visibility and shows basic information useful for vaping.

How the Mod works:
- Press the Fire button five times to turn on / off the device.
- When vaping the Wattage is locked, to unlock and adjust it press the Down or Up key three times.
- To adjust the Wattage from 5 to 80w press the Up or Down keys, increase / decrease of 1W at a time.
- If we press the fire button without the atomizer installed, "Check Atomizer" appears on the screen
- If the installed resistance is less than 0.1Ω, the screen will indicate "Low Resistor"
- If a short circuit occurs, the screen will indicate "Shorted"
- The vape time of the last Puff and the Puff count are updated on the screen, the Time out of the single Puff is set to 10s.
- Every time the device is turned off, the Puff counter is reset.
- If the battery voltage is lower than 3.2V, "Low Voltage" appears on the screen
- If the battery voltage is lower than 2.8V, "Weak Battery" appears on the screen
-If the temperature of the PCB board during the vape reaches 75 °, "Too Hot" appears on the screen and the device stops dispensing
- When the battery is inserted incorrectly, the device does not work and goes into protection.
- Inserting the Type-C cable the screen switches to the charging interface.
- During charging, the graphic level of the battery will increase step by step
- After finishing the recharge, the charge stops after 1.5s, by extracting the cable the interface returns to the vape mode.

Note: The Cube-S can be fully recharged in about 90 minutes using the Type-C cable, however on all Mods equipped with an external battery I always recommend using a special charger.
