Nitecore Intellicharger i2

What's up guys and gals ! I wanted to ask if anyone has had any problems similar to mine with an inteliicharger i2. Today I woke up and noticed that my batteries were charged. But one of them was put on wrong. Meaning the positive side was on the negative side. Visa-versa.

Now the charger has solid lighting on bay 1. I have tried disconnecting the power for a couple of minutes and nothing. And now my batteries are dead. Two 18650 Sony VCT5. Won't fire on my ipv 2s nor my mech mods.

I'm screwed aren't I !?

I have the i2 as a backup but haven't used it. I use the i4 and have inserted a battery incorrectly once. The bay status light showed "fully charged" and I knew that wasn't right so removed the battery and was going to switch it to a different bay but then noticed I had inserted in backwards, easy to do with flat tops. Once I re-inserted the battery correctly it began charging normally, I had no further problems with the charger or battery.

I have the nitecore intellicharger i4 been great and sure it has a protection for putting the batteries in the wrong way. Would have thought the i2 would be the same.

Though it probably gives you a signal that something is wrong when you first put in the batteries so if you keep them in after a long time things may not go good.
