New to ECForum, not to vaping!! Titanium question

Hello! I'm in a bit of a bind. I got this, (.5mm Gr 1 titanium round wire, for those who don't wish to click) and have been using it in my ipv4 in TC mode. I am running a dual coil, 6 wrap on a troll rda. The problem is I keep getting lung irritation, almost like I am smoking again. I tried heating it up before wicking to get oil and such off, and while it is better it isn't by much. I was hoping this could take care of my dual coil/temp control issue, but not if it is going to tear up my lungs!! Please, any info would be appreciated.
