Ok so I finished with my recent repetoire of recipe winners, and have made about 6 different real winners that all are ADV's for me. My problem is that despite the fact that Im making all my juices at either 70/30 or 80/20 VG-PG, for some reason I am getting very little cloud production in comparison to commercial juices. My VG, PG, and nicotine are all high quality from nude nicotine and my flavorings are all TFA, Capella, One-stop-DIY, and FA, and Ive taken theyre compositions into account in mixing vg/pg ratios. Anybody know whats up??

Just a little bit should go a long way. 2-5% of total, maybe. I'm sure there are others who can better explain why - as I'm not entirely sure on the specifics myself. Take it with a grain of salt... or two.

I think part of the point is that you want to add a liquid with a lower boiling point to allow for more efficient atomization - while decreasing the boiling point of the solution. Atomization is - if I'm not entirely mistaken - mostly about heating a liquid to the point where one of it's components 'pop' sort of like a popcorn, and carries the other components with it in an aerosol. The 'carrier liquid' in our case would be the water. It has a significantly lower boiling point than both PG and VG - or any mix thereof.

As I'm sort of confused myself, I can only suggest you make a tiny batch of no-nic pure PG/VG mix and compare vapor production to the same mix with a few % of added water.

The only times I've experienced that problem is not running my battery high enough on wattage or your juice isn't mixed enough and your getting mostly VG in your dropper. What I find very successful is instead of shaking the bottle is using a syringe and sucking up all the juice in the syringe and injected it back in the bottle between 5 to 10 times really mixes the juice up better then stirring or shaking the bottle till your hand goes numb. I still shake it afterwards. Also the liquid will look cloudy for a few minutes due to the air bubbles but it goes away and it's very well mixed.
