NEW. JUST FOUND SOMETHING OUT. DRAG 3

Hello, everyone! I am a 69 year old woman who quit smoking cigarettes 7-8 years ago by vaping instead! That's after 40+ years of smoking up to 2 packs/daily! Have been very happy about this and continue to be free of cigarettes.

I just got the DRAG 3 mod, which I had been wanting for a while. I've always used the EZ WATT - bought 3 of them then decided to try something else. So, I am new to all the wattage, etc. that is displayed on the side.

Having just watched a utube vid on the DRAG 3, I have learned several things about my new mod. One is changing it to smart mode, then back to regular mod. I noticed someone asking about this. If you need to know all I have to do is press the vape button 3 times quickly and it will change to smart mode. Do it again and it will change back. What I like about smart mode is that it goes to the wattage that should be used for the coil I am using. I didn't know s**t about coil resistance until getting this mod. Needless to say, I am learning a lot!!

If anyone could offer suggestions (Tips/Tricks) on how to operate this mod please reply with your input. It will be much appreciated. BTW - glad to have found these forums....:)

Welcome to ECF, VRChampagne. Congrats on the switch. Cigs to vaping that is. That said, I don't use nor am I familiar with the Drag 3 device, but I'm sure that soon there'll be some more helpful replies here. YouTube vids are great sometimes though, I'd have to agree with that.

Hi VRChampagne. Welcome to the ECF.

My only suggestion about your Mod is what SCG mentioned about checking out YouTube Videos.

A more general Suggestion though is to always have Plenty of Back-Up Supplies on hand. Things just seem to get More n' More Restrictive shipping wise every time you turn around.

So if You Like you DRAG 3, and whatever Atomizer/Coil Heads you use with it, consider getting some extras. That would go for e-Liquids if you don't DIY already.

I am a big fan of the Drag series, having owned the original, Drag2 and Drag3. The Gene chip is very responsive and quickly delivers power to the coils. The only bad thing I can say about these mods is that the finish does not last very long. But for the money, these are as good as you can get in that price range.

I agree with the having backups. I love the smart coils from wotofo because they save me tons of money in coils. It's a rebuildable coil that is simple simple simple. My poor brain needs that. No fiddling with wrapping wire or fluffing cotton. I have 18 of those that I bought at a little over $2 each from sourcemore. I get cotton at 50 strips for $5 on AliExpress. I am set for the next 3 years for less than I paid for 6 months of coils and can change the cotton whenever it gets old. Sign up for vaping cheap and cheap vaping's emails. They will let you know when good sales are going on. I used that to build up my hardware over the years. Christmas is a great time for sales usually. Hope any of this information helps. I am so glad that vape helped me give up cigarettes 13 years ago.
