I just brought some new coils for my smok X Priv and tried to put one coil it but it wouldn't screw in so i put a second one in, this screwed in with no problem but when I turned on the vape it showed the resistance as 0.266 ohms which is more than double the factory resistance of 0.12 ohms and my usual 0.132 ohms. I haven't used it yet just in case they are fake coils and i have also contacted the shop I purchased them from and they have not responded yet but if you have any suggestions or ways to fix this it would be useful.

A lack of quality control may indicate fakes, it may also just be that Smok has a pretty poor track record for QC as well.
The first coil will not fit so thats off the table. The difference in resistance of the second one does not really matter because you have a regulated device. Your device will still send the selected wattage to it and I would hazard a guess that you will find the vape indistinguishable.
I agree that you should get replacements provided for free from the shop, and an explanation or apology. Depending on how they respond, you may want to use another source for you coils going forward. The working coil with the slightly off resistance should last you a week or two so there's plenty of time to get organised.
Good luck.
