i just ordered this. completely noob when it comes to mechs, but i'm wondering if you can remove the extra beauty ring as (correct me if im mistaken) the authentic one doesn't have it

Lot of crap comes out of FT, but those are nice. Ive never tried the brass.
The beauty ring comes off. Good luck on your month wait for it.

Shipping time from FT is somewhere from 3 weeks to 3 months. If you order it, expect a wait.

I have the SS Nemesis from FT, and it is great. The spring in the bottom is a bit "crunchy" at first, but improves over time.

Their products seem to be hit or miss. I got a great one. My friend got one that was terrible. Contacts on both ends are incredibly loose. Spring didn't function properly without a thorough cleaning. However, at $20, it is worth a shot. I'd say go for it.

As with all things, you get what you pay for. Just don't expect perfection and you should be fine.
