For 14 years, I've been vaping Freedom Smoke USA Ultra Menthol PG/VG 50/50 extra flavoring 16 mg nic, and that only. They currently aren't doing any online orders because they are relocating their main store. But they have no idea for how long that will be.

So what are my options here? Does any other company make and ship juices that are just like Freedom Smoke? Would it be possible to make my own and make it taste the same? How hard would that be?

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi. There's a small chance that someone here, or somewhere, has used that same e-liquid & found the match you're looking for (i'm not that someone). More likely, though, you'll need to experiment w/ other liquids until you find what you like. The good news is that there are plenty of menthol e-liquids available from several sellers -- Just use your favorite search engine or stop into a local vape shop if there are any. Also good is that experimenting can be fun and possibly serendipitous. The bad news is that nothing's free & you may get some losers before you get a winner. 16mg isn't common in commercial e-liquids; 18 & 12 are.
Would it be possible to make my own and make it taste the same?
Definitely possible. Not necessarily simple.
How hard would that be?
Mixing your own e-liquid isn't hard. Mixing your own GOOD e-liquid is harder but very possible. Mixing something that tastes exactly the same as a particular commercial e-liquid may be a challenge. There are e-liquid recipe sites: DIYOrDieVaping, AllTheFlavors, E-Liquid-Recipes, e-LiquidBook, 99juices. i checked for Freedom Smoke clones for you & didn't find any (which doesn't necessarily mean there aren't any) but there are menthol recipes They also have info on how to mix (DIYOrDie has a lot), there's a sub-forum about DIY mixing here (DavidOck mentioned it above), and YouTube has plenty about it. Mixing can be fun and it's a money-saver long term. There's an up-front investment, though, nicotine being the biggest expense.

In your shoes, i'd start at a local vape shop & pick up a bottle or 3 of different e-liquids in the smallest sizes & closest nic concentrations available. Your profile says you started vaping back in 2011 & kicked a 1 1/2 pack/day habit. You're not a newbie so why not try to have some fun expanding your vaping horizons while hoping for Freedom Smokes to come back?

I'm in the exact boat you are except the flavor. I've been a Freedom Smoke USA customer since 2010. I'm about out of my last order.
I use the FSUSA watermelon, blueberry, watermelon fluff and blueberry fluff, and melon candy.

Since FSUSA started having major issues at the start of 2023 I started trying to find my flavors elsewhere. I've bought 40+ different watermelon and blueberry liquids from online and local stores. Not a single one tastes ANYthing like what FSUSA does. The "blueberry" I received yesterday tastes like some kind of slightly fruity vanilla cake with a cinnamon finish. And there is very little difference between the blueberry and the watermelon. Yes... they are in different devices so it's not leftover from the first flavor.
The only info I could get from an employee before they shut down was that they used synthetic nicotine and natural flavors.
Over the 15 years of vaping I've tried over 500 flavors from FSUSA and others. The reason why I'm using these flavors is because they're really the only ones I actually like and will use. It keeps me from picking up an analog cigarette!
I have no problem mixing my own but no clue where to start. If anyone knows a former employee that knows the recipe to the 5 flavors...or even 1 or 2 flavors...I would greatly appreciate it. Or any other watermelon and blueberry liquids that actually taste like watermelon and blueberry...rather than some kind of blueberry cake with a cinnamon and vanilla swirl. I don't want combination flavors. Just the nice, clean taste of the actual fruit that I've been getting from FSUSA for the last 13 years.
Please...please...please. I'm out in about 4 or 5 days. I've been turning empty bottles upside down to squeeze every last drop out that I can.

Do you know if they are just relocating and starting back up online, or going out of the online business entirely? And I'd also like to add that I would love it if someone knows the recipe for the Menthol Ultra!

When I talked to someone about 2 weeks ago it was a "temporary shutdown" but they didn't know what was going on. They weren't being told anything. A few months ago their website was down but they were having people place their orders over the phone and then they shipped it out from the River store. But when I called last week they couldn't do that now. Told me I should ask a friend in Arizona to go into the store and have them ship it to me. But now the stores are closed, too.

IF Freedom Smoke is going out of business, someone w/ some authority there MAY be willing to share their recipes w/ the public. All you can do is speak to people there & hope.
The other thing you can do is learn to like other flavors.

I have no problem mixing my own but no clue where to start

One of the reasons I posted was to hopefully find a current or former employee for the recipes. No one at FSUSA is answering the phone or emails. Even when they were open over the last 3 years they didn't answer the phone or emails. I've posted here before about that.
I've been trying other flavors for years. Tastes are subjective. I still have over 200 5-15ml bottles of flavors I've tried. Unfortunately waaaaay too many blenders are more interested in creating their own fusion of flavors rather than just the basics. You buy a watermelon and it ends up being a watermelon peach lemonade mango bubblegum twist even though it says it's just watermelon.
I have been to the DIY or DIE site. It's a great resource. Especially if I was 23 and had the $$$$ and time to start from scratch. But I'm fift-nevermind. If someone had the actual recipes of the 5 flavors I use and could tell me "you need this...this...and this..." then I would whole heartedly jump in with both feet. Then experiment after that. I've searched for a basic watermelon recipe from recipe sites to reddit subs. 100s if not 1000s.
Unfortunately I don't live in an area where there's an **eh em** older vaper DIY group like there is for the typical vaper. I'm not in the Juul group but I'm also not in the MOD/DIY demo. I don't even know anyone in person that vapes. I'm just an old lady former smoker of 30+ years that's been using an ecig for 14 years to keep from smoking because nothing else worked in the previous 20 years. I bought my first ecig from an infomercial on tv in 2007 and found my flavors that I've stuck with since 2010.

X'ing my fingers that someone either knows of a store that uses similar flavors or knows the recipes of the FSUSA watermelon, blueberry, watermelon fluff, blueberry fluff and melon candy.

I'm not sure how this would work for the flavors you like, but someone in a facebook group recommended I try All About Vapor. I bought their Smooth Menthol and it tastes exactly the same as my flavor from FSUSA. You can reach them by phone and they're very helpful. Maybe give them a call and see if they can help you too.

Mmk...I just got my order from AAV. I ordered 5 juices. Smallest they had on my preferred flavors was 120ml. So it was a $150 order.
The first was a pre-packaged flavor. Said it was blueberry jam but it was blueberry tobacco. 2 flavors you never want to mix together. It's horrible.

Black cherry isn't terrible but it has very little flavor. It's a AAV flavor. It's kind of perfumery with a bizarre aftertaste.
The 2 different watermelon ones aren't terrible but I wouldn't call them good. They're also perfumey. And they have some kind of different weird aftertaste.
The other blueberry has a vanilla aftertaste and overall isn't real pleasant.
Now maybe the shop blends will improve after a week or two. But in my experience those weird flavors and perfumey tastes only get worse. But we'll see.
So I'm back to the drawing board unless there is someone on the forum that lives in the Tucson area that would be willing to pick up an order from FSUSA and ship it to me.

I FOUND IT!!!! Ohhhh...I'm ecstatic!

I found the flavors that I was getting from FSUSA! FINALLY!!!! I found after weeks of searching another forum that had a post of quite a few different vape liquid companies and the brands of flavors they used. One of them happened to be FSUSA. So I found a site that sold the flavors...bought some nic, some PG/VG, some bottles, some lab equipment...and now I no longer need to deal with the ups and downs of the politics of FSUSA (are they in biz...are they not...)!!!!

I'm just so dang happy I could do a Snoopy happy dance!! Sorry for ALL THE CAPS AND !!!!!!!!!!
But after 13 years of buying the same flavor juices from 1 company and not being able to get it...buying pre-mixed and custom blends from 15 different juice shops in the last few months...I'm just incredibly relieved. I spent over $1500 trying to find a watermelon and blueberry that I was used to...or at least liked. If it's made...I bought it. Of course, now I have $1500 worth of watermelon and blueberry juices that I can't use. But sometimes you need to go through a lot of duds before you find your Prince Charming. And I'm now ready for my happily ever after!!!

Watermelon is FlavourArt.

I ordered about 60 different flavors from Bull City Flavors.
The Blueberry was FlavorWest. I'm not positive that FSUSA used FlavorWest but I tried the FlavourArt "juicy blueberry" and it tastes just like FSUSAs "Blueberry Blitz" which is very over-flavored. It's really over the top. The FlavorWest was definitely closer to the FSUSA Blueberry. There isn't a regular Blueberry in FlavourArt. There is a Bilberry but FSUSA also had Bilberry that I had tried before and it's definitely different.

The Watermelon hands down is FlavourArt. All of the FlavourArt flavors at BCF are identical to the FSUSA website. Even the descriptions and pictures.

But I'm definitely content with the FlavourArt and FlavorWest as well as The Flavor Apprentice Cotton Candy. The Watermelon and Blueberry mix really well with the Cotton Candy. FlavourArt didn't have a Cotton Candy either. The TFA tastes very very similar to what FSUSA had in their "Watermelon Fluff" and "Blue Fluff".

I will be mixing, shaking, steeping and tasting so more of the 60+ other flavors soon. Maybe I'll find something else that works, too.

Right now I'm vaping...

Watermelon
Blueberry
Cotton Candy
Blueberry/Watermelon
Blueberry/Watermelon/Cotton Candy
Annnnnd...
Coffee from TheVapeMall.

I really like their coffee...but it is HORRIBLE on coils and atomizers. They only last a few days before they're burnt. Rinsing and blowing out only gives you another day or 2. I haven't tried the coffee flavors from Bull City yet. But they will be in my next order.

I did get a really cool shaker to help mix all my new creations. I got a 4 E's Mini Vortex shaker and it saved me from aggravating my carpal tunnel. It works great up to 75-100ml.

Thank you again for all your help!!!

May I ask you a question please? I tried searching this on the forum and internet...is there a decent way to test flavors without mixing with juice, etc...or trying the flavor on your tongue? Going just by scent of the flavor I know isn't working. And dabbing a drop on your tongue is making my tongue numb and now my Dr Pepper tastes like perfume.

Can you mix a drop with water, let it sit for a day...and drink it to get a general idea of the taste? I've got 60+ flavors and don't want to waste the juice, coils and time on flavors if I don't have to. Or some way to narrow down the flavors to actually mix with juice and eventually vape. I know it wouldn't be exactly like vaping it. All these flavors are made for food so it's not bad to eat or drink.
