On mine, when I plug it in to charge, the light on the charger turns red, and the light on the vape pen itself turns on (white.) When it is (I presume) "mostly" charged, the light on the pen flashes several times, then turns off and stays off. Then some time later ("fully" charged?) the light on the charger will change from red to green.

Alright so I unplugged it while it was orange yesterday to use it because I felt it charged long enough for decent use but it only ended up lasting an hour. Then after it died in a very short time I just plugged it in and now it's flashing red while charging. So the colors I know of are 1 flashing red and 2 solid orange.. Never seen green like I expected. The button on vape is solid blue while charging.

Should it go from flashing red to orane then to green on the charger?

If it is flashing red, normally that is bad. Short circuit, overheating, etc. it should be orange when charging, then turn green when done. What brand is your battery and charger? Because if your charger doesn't have battery protection, then it may have overcharged and damaged your battery if you left it on there over night or something.

Ok I quickly changed my power source to 110V and now my charger is green light flashing orange? Thank you very much for your response. I had it plugged into 220v originally. After switching it is no longer charging red... But I'm still confused why it's green flashing orange

I don't think it is branded it just says ego charger and a generic ego style battery

I wanted to add that I never leave my battery over night and always charge 110v while keeping an eye on it

There are (normally, not always) two light. One at the wall, and one at the cord. The one at the wall, should be orange or red. The one on the cord should be green when fully charged. If the one on the wall is flashing orange, then it is likely just and indicator that you have a battery connected.

The one on the wall is always red, even without the vape connected it never changes it's color. However the one on the cord was solid orange yesterday, today when I had it accidentally plugged into 220v it was flashing red on the cord. Since it changed to 110v the one on cord is green but flashing orange. But yesterday it was solid orange.

I think the red on the wall is normal because all their charges did it at store. However the one on the cord is the one I'm confused about

I can honestly say I have never run into that. Perhaps it is just the type of charger. That very well could be its "charging cycle complete" status light. Do you have another battery that is partially drained you could test it with?

Unfortunately no, this is my only ego and probably my last here. I'll be sticking to my Kbox and extra tanks from here on out. I appreciate your time and I'm happy that it's at least not flashing red anymore since I switched to 110. If I run into anymore oddities I'll post here.

No problem. But, hey, how are you liking the Kbox?

The kbox is great. Great taste and amazingly easy setup to use. Love the variable wattage and safety built into it. I don't think i'll ever use anything besides electric vape mods. When I get back to the states I'll be investing in an array of them.

I've never had a problem with the kbox besides a tiny bit ( extremely tiny ) bit of leaking out of the tank through the wick (air holes).. which I plan to remedy by adding a little bit more cotton and vaping certain juices at a higher wattage.

But that's not the kbox's fault. It's the subtank mini's fault and probably more of my own user error.

Just curious because a friend wants to get into SubOhm, but wants the SubTank Plus like I have. The issue is he wants a mod that is inexpensive and still 25mm wide. Other than the KBox, I just can't think of any. But, if it's a good device, I'll let him know. Thanks for the input my friend. :)

Yep the kbox is a great vaporizer. No complaints

However I did want to update about the ego vape pen.. still charging right now and it feels like it's been many hours. I did take it off the charger for a minute to test it and it works so it is charging.. the only update so far is the light has been solid orange for the last 5+ hours or so.. losing track of time. However it seems extremely long charge and I'm not sure why. Even my sony or efest batteries for the kbox don't take this long to charge. I'm not sure what's going on.

Give or take an hour I believe it has been charging anywhere from 7 hours to 9 hours? I was charging it for about 30 minutes before creating this thread. So far just solid orange

Any way you can post a picture of the battery? Do you know that the MaH are? If it was fully drained, it very well may take 8 hours on a cheaper charger like that. They don't have much output. The 18650's will charge faster because your charger for those has a much higher output.

Unfortunately

my phone died waiting for the vape pen to finish as I'm using the only 110V on my avr so I have no way of taking a picture until the morning here but when I first got it apparently it was fully charged because I remember it lasting an entire day.. so I believe it would have to be one of the higher capacity batteries.

I did find this picture off the internet and mine is definitely not a 650.. it looks more like the 1100MAh but without measuring it may also be the 900.. Definitely one of the longer ones though

Honestly I'm just guessing based off the visual. I have no idea 100% but it is longer than the 650 seen in the picture though

Okay, so the 1100 will last you roughly 11 hours of Vape time and is likely my and skinny. The 900 will last nine, and is longish and fat. The 600 will last six and is a chode. They also make a 1300 will last 13 hours and is really long and fat.

Yeah I'm not sure if its the ego t or the regular ego and do not know the difference. But it is definitely a skinny longer ego battery. and I remember it lasting a long time when I first bought it. My Kbox has offically died and waiting for this thing to finish. I'm pretty sure this will be my last ego while i'm abroad.. when I return to the states they seemed much better quality control. I purchased an ego long ago from vaporfi and never had this problem.

I'm hoping that this is just because it is the very first " real " charge.. the longest i've ever let it go.

It's definitely charging though. I guess I'll let it go 12 hours if I'm still awake then and just see what happens.

Last time I got impatient and took it off the charger when it was still orange.. only lasted 1 hour.
