Hello people, i am a fairly new vaper and user of this forum which i have been using as a guide and help since i started vaping. Now i am not a complete noob in vaping, do a fairly good reaserch and try to figure things myself before bothering anyone with already answered questions. I have tried to find as much info online and in vendors ( there are no local vendors here i have to travel at least 60km/40miles to find a semi-decent store) but i hit a dead end so i now need your help.
First of all my mod is the Innokin Itaste Kroma a 75W mod that works in TC and my tank is a Veco plus tank with the EUC coils. Even with the original tank which was the slipstream tank i found vaping in TC far more enjoyable than wattage mode which i never got to like as much as TC. With the sliptream tank which used the straight ss360L 0.5 coils, TC was straightforward vaping at around 220-230C/430-450F but i had some issues with those coils and i decided to buy the Veco tank and try the ceramic ones.
Now i have been trying to work with these 0.5 and 0.3 ceramic SS coils from vaporesso but TC is acting a bit strange. through trial and error i found that they have some break in time (about 4ml) and thats ok. next is my first problem which is the temperature. During break in i use it at 160C/320F then slowly ramp up but not by much. I can vape at 175 to 180C/350F max before things start to get wonky. if i put the temp at say 200C/390F the coil vapes at 165-170C/330F for a second with an okay-ish taste and then it jumps to my selected temp instantly and the taste goes really bad with a ceramic/burnt feel.
I asked a couple of stores about these coils, one vendor told me that i can only use these coils in either TC or Wattage mode but one coil can only be used in one mode and i cannot switch between them even when coil is cooled down which i found weird, the second store told me that these coils are not useable in TC at all which i found weirder than the first advice.
So my question is how can i use these coils to get the best experience? Is this behaviour normal?Am i doing anything wrong?
Side info: I moslty use homemade 50/50 3-6 nic juices with light flavours like strawberry coconuts apples chocolates and vanilas(~10% flavor total), i have set the wattage in TC mode at 45-50W if i set it to the max 75W i get the ceramic/burnt taste as soon as i fire the mod no matter the temp i set it to.
Any help or insight is much appreciated, i know it was a bit of a long read and sorry for that, but i think i had to describe all the factors in order to pass on all the variables (which when it comes to vaping there are a LOT)
