Need a vendor to replace EC Blends

Hi, new member, first post

Long story short, I bought my liquid from EC Blends for almost a decade, but last time I tried to order it became apparent that they no longer ship nicotine liquids... and I'm not sure why.

So I need to find another economical replacement, but none of the local shops have what I want, and their prices are crazy high - like 3X what I was paying from ECB.

My needs are simple: 60/40 VG/PG blend, or approximately so. Basic Peppermint flavor, no sweetener or cool-hit / menthol required, 18mg strength for Kanger Tech EVOD style vape pens (1.8ohm coil, 510 battery).

So what are my options? Can I mix my own, or maybe buy some from a local DIY blender? I'm in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.

Thanks for any & all help.. very much appreciated!

You can get a basic mint from any site that will ship to you. All you need to mix is vg, pg, and flavor. Since you would probably just need one or two flavors you could get by with a couple syringes and a measuring cup. I'm not into mints so can't give any advice on what ones to try. The good folks over on the Random Mixing thread, maybe @FranC can chime in with someone more familiar with mints

So can you suggest any of these sites that will ship to me? Aren't there some laws (or just "voluntary actions") that prevent shipping?

EC Blends stopped shipping at one point when apparently the USPS / UPS / FedEx stopped shipping liquids. But then they found a carrier who would handle it for them, and all seemed fine. But then, one day, all nic liquid was gone from the site without any explanation. Still no idea why.

@UncLeJunkLe has a blog of sites that still ship nic. As far as flavors, vg, and pg Bull City Flavors is great and my go to since I've been mixing. Red Star site is good for reasonably priced juice, I'll have to see if they are still shipping.

Can I mix my own...

Peppermint is my main vape juice. I vape it like 99.9% of the time. I make my own. It's easy if all you want is strictly peppermint. I would DIY it if I were you. For peppermint flavor, i actually prefer Flavor West Candy Cane flavoring. I mix it at 8% flavoring for low powered setups like Evods vaped at 7-8 watts. Of course, you may want a higher or lower percentage of flavor, it's all about personal taste.

To be clear, that list is not my recommendations so much as it is just a list of all the places left in the USA that are still selling nicotine concentrate. It's up to you to decide which will be best place to buy.

TBH, buying nicotine in the summer isn't the best time to buy it as it could sit in a hot truck for days. But that's just my opinion and I understand that waiting months for cooler weather may not be realistic.

    Isn't that stuff regulated now?

The FDA is spread too thin to actually regulate "tobacco products". That's why there are still nicotine concentrate sellers right now. But no one can guarantee you can buy any nicotine concentrate next month or next year.

Even juice and hardware are technically illegal to sell to end users in the USA unless that hardware and juice have an approved PMTA (which very little does), yet there are many vendors in the USA both online and offline.

TBH, the best option IMHO is to just get off the nicotine habit at this point. But I'd be a hypocrite to say that.

You can still get nic e-juice. You have to look under Legacy juice. I have an order on the way as I type.

I can't access that legacy products page. Says I don't have permission to and that I have to log in. But I am logged in.
