Hello all, so i've picked up the mini nautilus as a new tank upgrade over christmas. i thought with all the rave reviews and high performance records it was a shoe in for me. It got a nice review for use with the itaste vv3, which i own.Im currently vaping an all vg juice and i tend to run at a minimum of 3.8 volts(whatever that equates to in watts and so on.) i did make one note that this thing likes to run at high voltages and sucks juice really quickly. Also what is the right resistance on the atomizer of the bvc, mine tends to jump between 2.0 and 1.8 even 1.7 sometimes. I've been ripping through the coils quickly, Mostly because i've been trying to get the most out of it. But i was thinking:thumbs: that if i could clean the coils i could get a bit more life out of them. Then i thought about rebuilding the darn things. So my questions are fairly straight forward 1) Can the bvc be cleaned and how? and 2) is there some way to rebuild them? If so any useful sites, links, video, reading materials of any sort for both will be greatly appreciated. If none of this is feasible what to get. The atlantis, minisub? Any thoughts, advice or whatever would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all

There is a few YouTube videos to do both bvc and bdc rebuild. Rip trippers did one. Sorry I don't have a link. I tried running hot water through them and soaking them in ever clear let them dry for a couple days but it didn't do much for them. I made a few bvc coils but I perfer to drill the juice feed holes a little larger and make a single (horizontal) coil. I don't like dual coils and it was easier anyway.

within my own thoughts....
Ok, i found this thread during my search on rebuilding the nautilus mini BVC's. It seems the 1.8 coils flood on my mini and i purchased a 1.6 today to see if that helped with the issue. I really don't want to give up on this tank just yet, so i was going to try doing the rebuilding of them. I've watched Rip Trippers vid on rebuilding the BVC's and i would prefer doing just the one horizontal coil.

My question for you pro's out there is this:

Where would a newbie like me go online to buy the supplies to rebuild the mini BVC's? Such as cotton, wire and tools? Also, if you have any ECF articles on this particular subject, please feel free to post them. I need ALL the help i can get...especially since i'm an older gal and don't have the expertise as most of you here do.

Thanks in advance and i pray i can do this because my wallet is starting to suffer from buying all these coils!

Oh and i meant to add....i have ran the used coils under hot water and let them dry out. Primed em and actually they did pretty good...for about a day and that was it. Just a FYI for anyone that wants to try it....i did NOT dry burn them either!
