I've been using my 5ml Nautilus tank with 1.6 ohm BVC coils for a few months now and am curious what wattage you guys who have this same setup are vaping it at. Also, how long are the BVC coils lasting for you as well. I assume the higher wattage choice would equate to lesser days of use with each coil. When my 1.6 starts to read at 2.0, I start to notice less flavor and vapor production and swap in a new coil. For whats it worth, I stay in the 8.0-9.0 Watt range with these coils and am curious if 10 watts or more would impact the life of each coil.

How long are yours lasting? 'Bout a week?

I vape mine at 11 watts, for my particular 70/30 PG/VG juices thats where the flavor really comes out. How long they last seems to be very juice dependent. With my tobacco flavor they will last at least 3 weeks every time, but on my more flavored/sweetened juices barely a week.

I had bad luck with the 1.6 coils when I first got them, so I've been doing 1.8 for a long time now. It could very well not be related though.

I've found that 9W is my sweet spot for most fruit juices, and something more heavy I usually go to 10-10.5 max. I figure why push it if there's no need. All my juice is 50/50 and I use an istick 30W.

They usually last me about close to 2 weeks if needed, but I try to never get to that point. If I remember that it's been over a week, I usually just switch anyway. But with the new organic coils, it's a learning curve still, so not sure yet.

within my own thoughts....
i just ordered some 1.6 coils, only because i have no luck with the 1.8's due to the larger holes. I also purchased an istick 20w (which now i'm wishing i had bought the 30w) only because i've read a 20w can't handle a Kanger subtank mini...(even though i wasn't planning on using the sub ohm just yet, just the stock coils).

But back to the OP's post.....with the 1.6 BVC's, do you have any issues with flooding on those?

The "Stock" coils for the subtank can be sub-ohm also. There are 0.5ohm coils and 1.2ohm coils. Your 20w can handle the 1.2 coils and it should vape decently at 20watts. Way more vapor and flavor than a nautilus for sure. The RBA section comes prebuilt at 0.5 as well, I tend to build mine to 0.65.
