My way of perfect wicking of the Subtank. Trust me, it works every time.

So I was looking at the 2 side holes in the updated Subtank rba deck and thought to myself, why not treat it as a clearomizer instead of just another build deck? Thread the cotton through the first hole, then the coil and out the other hole. Cut the cotton so that about 2mm of it protrudes out of the deck and see what happens. This way the cotton fibres are nicely lined up and the distance to the coil is minimized. As it turns out, this is the perfect way to wick the rba deck. No dry-hits, spitting or leaking. And this is with a 70/30 blend.

That's how I do it. But I like to 1 Extra Step.

And that is I take the Snipped Off pieces of Cotton that were sticking out of the Holes and stuff them into the Open Areas inside the RBA Section.

I think it gives the wick More Reserve Capacity. But I could be Over Thinking it. But then again, I haven't run the Wick Dry. So I keep Doing what Works.

I haven't had any problem running High VG in RBA Plus using the Tech Outlined here except for 1 Time.

I kept getting Dry Hits. Couldn't figure out What was Going On.

I Re-Wicked / Re-Coiled about 3 Times before it Dawned on me that I Forgot to put a Few Drops of Water into my High VG DIY Mix.

LOL
