I was vaping, and he was beside me. What can I say? I was curious to see his reaction. When I smoked analogs he would quickly get away. I swear he would look at a lit cigarette and start sneezing. So it's interesting that when I blew vapor towards his face, he didn't react to it. He just looked at me like "what the heck was that"?. He didn't sneeze or blow air out his snout. I know this doesn't prove anything, but a dogs nose is very sensitive. It reassures me that these things have to contain way less harmful chemicals then analogs. IMO (of course)

If my dog is in the other room, he comes running with his nose in the air when I use my stuff. He loves it and wants to get right up to my face! Some flavors he likes the smells of better than others.

Now on the other hand, I have a cat that used to come running when I smoked regular cigs...and she does NOT like the vapor off of these. Go figure! She is a weird cat overall though, so I expect nothing less from her!

I wouldn't recommend blowing anything in your pet's face as their systems are more sensitive than ours and can have bad reactions with some things that do not bother humans. I'm not saying it's going to harm them but better safe than sorry. What we put in our bodies are our own decisions, let's not submit our best friends to the same thing.

+1. I have a Border Collie and wouldn't think of blowing vapor or cigarette smoke in it's face. When I smoked, I smoked outdoors for the sake of my wife, kids and dogs. Wouldn't do anything differently now. No, I won't let my dog sample my favorite IPAs, either.

It wasn't my intent to worry anyone. I did it once to see his reaction. It's not anytning I'll ever do intentionally again. I just thought it was interesting. If your pets are near you when you vape they're gonna inhale some anyway. Sorry if I offended anyone.

No worries, I don't think your post was offensive at all. I have two dogs that I love and spoil to an unhealthy extent. ;) I too wondered if they would hate vapor since they hated smoke when we would go outside every half hour. I didnt blow anything on them, but near them and they just stared at me.They sit near me while I vape, and it doesn't seem to bother them at all. When I smoked, they would sit as for from my clouds as possible.

I'm not trying to bash anybody, just putting in my :2c: I'm sure if you didn't care about your dog he wouldn't be inside with you hanging out, he'd probably be tied up outside. Doing it one time probably won't kill him, I just wouldn't suggest doing it all the time. My dog is always next to me but when I vape I blow it away from him and the vapor dissapates much quicker than smoke.

Ranger(he) is a boxer and pit mix.
