Mixing Nic Salt with Freebase

Sup ppl. Im new to vaping and have invested in some things that were not working to well for me. I bought a eGo AIO starter kit and a couple 70vg/30 pg 6mg nic juices and did not really like the device that well.

Just recently researched pod mods and went with the smok Novo.
Really am liking this device along with some Salt Nics from Naked 100. My problem now is that i have some 50mg salt nic and 35mg salt nics from them. The 35mg is nice and i really like it but the 50mg is a little much with the head buzz and i like to vape on it a little more than 2 times an hour which is about all i can handle with the 50mg.

But I am also stuck with 100ml of skwezed green apple that is just sitting there. I really dont want it to go to waste so i tried using it in a pod and it seemed like it flooded the pod and spit alot of crap in my mouth. I figured this is because of the 70/30 mix?

What i want to try is to mix some of the 70/30 (a little at a time through refills) with my 50mg salt nic to ease up on the nic in that but also not let the green apple go to waste.

Does anybody know if mixing Salt nic with Freebase is ok? and do you think that my pod will be alright without spitting at me if i just mix a little at at time like say 70% of the 50mg with 30% of the green apple? I seen that some ppl have had spitting issues with these pods and i think it is because of the vg/pg ratio being wrong for the coil but if i do this im hoping to be ok and not waste my money.

Any help would be appreciated!

mixing the two is fine the only difference is that you might end up with a harsh throat hit
I mix mine but mine are all 3mg
rule of thumb when mixing
mix half and half so you would then add 50 + 6 = 56 / 2 = 28 so this would be about 28mg
but mixing nic and freebase is fine the only difference is nic salts supposedly enter your system faster and have little to no throat hit whereas freebase the higher the nic the stronger the throat hit (well higher nic than what you are used to) and also higher freebase nic than what you are used to tends to taste peppery....

Thanks! I will try it out then. was worried about wasting this juice for no reason due to not liking the eGo AIO. Still a newb so i gotta ween myself down to that nic level before it helps me lol. And i guess at the worst case i can just drain the mix out of the pod like i did with the 70/30. Hopefully all works out and im not out of money for no reason.

A 70Vg e-liquid shouldn't cause flooding higher PG is more likely to cause that because it's thinner.

Ok. Kind of figured it was the higher vg because when i just used the 70/30 i had to remove it due to it leaking from the bottom and spitting. Then put in my 50/50 in the same pod of salt nic and no problems. I kind of figured that it was not heating the juice quick enough so it was overwhelming it but idk lol. Coils in the Smok Novo are 1.2 res

You might of just over filled it first time around or with pods in general they can gurgle a bit when first filled usually a few chain vapes and they clear but your 70VG juice is less lightly to flood than the 50/50. I would try it again if i was you.

Ok awesome! I will try because i want to have a couple different pods around to switch out for flavors. So generally a pod can handle any juice? Im not going to go below 50/50 but if i can have some higher VG juices with lower nic that look good i will get them just for vaping flavors inbetween my nic fits lol. Untill i can ween my self off nicotine and get a better mod.

Higher than 70Vg and you could get wicking issues especially if you chain vape (the opposite to flooding, dry hits) gut 70VG will be fine.
