I bought my batterie 5 days ago and is fully charged could I have killed it or what ? Any idea ?? Thanks

Check to make sure your coil did not come loose, check resistance, then check to make sure you have voltage at the 510 connector with a voltmeter.

from a safety stand point, i wouldn't use a mech/rba without a multi-meter and thorough understanding of ohms law...just my opinion...

but check your coil, see if it came lose. try another atty if you have one. what kind of mech are you using? what kind of atty?

positive end if battery pointing towards 510 connection, NEVER REVERSE POLARITY!

My mech was like .58 on the ohm reader I think . Not home right now but when I checked earlier it was about .58
Yes resistance refers to the ohms of the coil, I dont subohm much, but .58 ohm should fire. I would double check your ohms when you get home. Then make sure you have voltage at the 510 connector. Stupid question, but on youre atty, is the 510 adjustable? If it is , you may have accidentally screwed it in to much to make contact. This happens to me allthe time with my Taifuns.Good luck, I hope you have a backup, if not you wiil want to get one . I always carry a couple extra.

Ayo! I recommend you stop and do some research before you potentially hurt yourself. The fact that you said your mod fired and then stopped potentially means you shorted your battery. What battery exactly is it? What's the CDR? Also, you said you "reversed your battery"?! Are you insane?

First, never put a battery in a mech mod reversed. This will 100% result in battery damage, and potentially damage to you. There is NO safety features in a mechanical mod. No circuitry to protect you in the event of user error. It's all up to you to understand how it works, and what exactly is going on when you hit the fire button (ideally, before you hit the fire button).

Second, what resistance does your build ohm out to? In most cases where a battery discharges they'll notice that the mod stops firing for some odd reason (we call it "misfires" -- when you press the button and nothing happens), and then they go to press the button again and kablooey! Bad stuff.

It's possible it's something as simple as your pin coming loose and not making proper contact with your battery, but from the way your first post sounds you should really re-evaluate what you're doing and whether or not you know how to safely operate a mech mod.

What brand of battery is that?, I don't recognize the wrap, what is the battery's continuous discharge rate ( CDR) in amps?
What is the battery's voltage when you remove it from the tube and put it on the charger & when you remove it from the charger?
What is the resistance of your build?

And I'm not gonna stop using my mech I'm just gonn be careful I'm posting and reading as I speak so I'm leArning what to do I kno a decent Mount of stuff bout mechs but just getting more then one opinion on things to make sure I understand and am right

I would venture to say that if you don't understand that resistance and ohms are the same thing or that you should never reverse polarity in a device, that you probably don't know enough about mech mods to use them safely.

ETA: Please respond to the questions above about which batteries you're using and what resistance your build came out to so we can both help you with your problem and ensure that you're not doing anything to jeopardize your safety or the safety of those around you.
