mc Provari Box Mod

He guys,
after trying the Reo Grand i started to love the box mod so i decided to create one box mod using the provari elettronics.

I started it 2 days ago and i think i'll finish next week.

Here the start scheme of the work:



Final external dimensions will be: 55 x 121 x 27
The reo grand is: 45 x 95 x 24.

ASAP i will post the wip photos !

How did you get the provari electroncs? Did you get a broken one?

I use the electronics of mine provari.

Wow. First I've heard of anyone dismantling a Provari.
It will be cool if you can reuse the Provari's LED lens in your mod too. It appears to magnify a bit.

Dismantle the provari is very simple and u can reassembly in about 30-35 seconds .

The top just pops off, correct? And the electronics comes out the top, right?

ProVari is a crazy system, but it has a poor, but usable converter. Anyway you can use this converter on something like wood mod. It's better than blow off this thing

A little update.
I'm wait the 510 connector to finish the work and i've to do some pieces at the late (like the button).

Makes sense, I put some 2600 bats in and they were tight (Too Long) and the top popped up a 1/6", Had to use a oring for a spacer on the battery cover, and tap the top back in.
