Marlboro miles? (Just to see how old you are)

I found this horseshoe set in my closet and it was new, I mean the horseshoes and spikes were wrapped up in packing stuff and all. I was wondering if someone left it here, then I talked to my gal and she said it was from Marlboro miles. I haven't smoked cigs in years, switched to a pipe and only been tobacco free for maybe five months now. I ebayed it and sure enough, my set was from the old Marlboro miles days. Just wondering if anyone else got into that way back when? What did you get?
It was like green stamps! :)

Oh lord.. The Basic rewards...

Two mini CD/cassette/radio home entertainment systems
Set of table lamps sitting right next to me on the bedroom night stands
Two Zippo lighters with gen-yoo-wine plastic scrimshaw inserts
Black and Decker laser level
Insulated cooler with fold out side tables
Couppla quilts of some sort that are up in the attic still in the box

And that's only the stuff I can remember right now. I know there is more...

I never got any marlboro miles or camel humps.

I am NOT a person that anyone can market to, since I started out my young life in the career of a Madison Ave. advertising firm. I learned enough there to permanently disdain marketing departments in general. I was the copywriter, so now when I read websites, I can instantly spot all the BS, and buzzwords.........

Thankfully, I got out of that biz quickly, being young and impressionable I noticed early on........so many of the people in the biz used to drink quite a lot......that kinda scared me......that was my first clue about the possibility of certain careers reinforcing *unfulfilled* or *unhappiness*. I don't know if it was the pressure (big clients with big money) or just having to hyperbolize, embellish, and tout.........using behavorial psychology on consumers to convince them of needing things they probably don't need.......

Years later, after they killed music, and I'd received so much junk mail and so many junk phone calls, I realized I made the right decision.
