I've tried at least 10 different recipes I've found online and didn't care for a single one of them. I'd like the strawberry to be strong and in your face with a creamy finish.
For some reason I cannot come up with something I like and its getting frustrating. Flavors I have on hand
Cap- Sweet strawberry, vanilla bean ice cream, sweet cream, strawberries and cream, vanilla custard v2, new York cheesecake, cake batter
Tfa- strawberry, ripe strawberry, vanilla bean ice cream, vanilla swirl, vanillin, sweet cream, Bavarian cream, cheesecake with Graham crust
Fa- Vienna cream

I've tried all kinds of mixes with these and I'm at a wall here. I'm probably just over thinking it but for some reason I'm never happy with the results. I tried the caps strawberries and cream at 8,10,12,15,18 and 20% and it was not good stand alone for me.

Any help would be appreciated here

Can you post the exact recipes you've tried. That tells a lot. Also, are you adding any sweetener to your mixes? Sometimes a little sweetener can really enhance the flavor.

How much of each of the other flavors have you tried in your recipe?

Also did you allow them to steep a few days then try them again?

I'm not home right now so I can't post all the stuff I've tried. As I've got it all wrote down.

I've tried sweetener and no sweetener, shake and vape and steeped for 2 weeks. I know I've tried the caps strawberries and cream, mustard milk recipe and various unicorn milks.

I'd like the strawberry to be prominent so I've tried that at 10-15% and the creams from 1-10% of various kinds. Some just single cream at 1-4% and others with multiple creams from 1-3% each.

For some reason I am just stumped on this one. I've had no trouble making rootbeer floats, various cheesecakes and fruit mixes but this one is getting the best of me.

I dug through my personal recipe book. I found this one and remember it was tasty:

9% capella sweet strawberry
5% TFA marshmallow
3% sweet cream tfa
4% capella vanilla custard
4% capella french vanilla
4% vanilla swirl tfa
1.5% Capella New York cheese cake
Sweetener (EM) 1%

I know this seems like a lot of flavor... but this turns out awesome just like this. If it's too strong you can lower some of the creams a tad but leave the strawberry around 9%.

I find Marshmallow really adds something to some mixes that I really like. Do you have any?

How big of a difference is it between cap and tfa french vanilla? Just use the same %?

Capella may be a little stronger... Try keeping it the same then adjust it if needed after you test.

I also found this recipe in my book:

3% Strawberries n Cream
4% Sweet Strawberry (CAP)
9% Vanilla Custard
2% Marshmallow
1% sweetener

These are all TFA flavors except the one.
I don't have the tfa strawberries n cream so unfortunately I can't try that, I'm about to try the other recipe you listed now

The marshmallow and the french vanilla definitely give it a good mouth feel. I'm not a big EM user so it does seem pretty sweet to me but I'll have to give it some time to sit and blend together. Thanks for this I appreciate it. I'm all ears if anyone else wants to contribute to this, I'm willing to make a bunch of juices to find a ADV with this flavor profile

You can tweak it to your liking. Maybe it's a starting point for you. Everybody has their own "sweet spot".

Good luck!

@AndriaD, can you help?

Dunno. All I can offer is a great recipe that I've vaped as my ADV for about 11 months now, and others seem to really enjoy as well.

Inawera Shisha Strawberry 16%
TFA DX Bavarian Cream 6%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 4.5%
CAP Sweet Cream 2%
TFA Sweetener 2% - 3%

If you don't want it too sweet, leave out the sweetener till you taste it. I actually use 3.1% sweetener, but I have a sweet tooth a mile long and 10 miles wide; without a lot of sweetener, to me, most stuff doesn't have much taste at all.

And no, there really is no substitute for the Inawera Shisha Strawberry; only one I've tried that tastes like ACTUAL sweet real strawberries.

New to DIY here..but after same flavor profile. Tried this recipe the other day, of course this has blueberry in it. But if you left that out and maybe increased the strawberry percentages, I think you will get the fruit flavor you're looking for without the cream being overbearing.

strawberry: 4%. tfa
strawberry ripe: 6% tfa
(( blueberry (capellas): 5% ))
bavarian creamdx: 3% tfa
whipped cream: 2% tfa

like I said, pretty new to mixing so maybe take it with a grain of salt. But I have been experimenting with variations of this for a month or two...seeing as it's really the only flavors I get excited about anymore. I've made this without the blueberry and liked it a lot. I should also add that I tend to lean towards higher vg mixes. This one in particular was 70vg/30pg. I added a couple of drops of tfa frosted donuts to this recipe last night and it added a little sweetness that complemented the other flavors nicely, maybe 2-3 drops just rounds it out more. Good luck with the strawberry/cream recipe!
