“Check atomizer” generally means there is no electrical circuit detected. There are a couple possibilities:
1. The 510 connector has a touch connection for its center pin. Most modern mods have a spring loaded center pin to accommodate attys of varying pin heights. Older devices often have a screw pin which must be manually adjusted. A sufficiently long atomizer pin forcefully enough screwed in can be enough to damage a spring loaded connector though.

2. The broken connection is in the atomizer itself. This can happen anywhere along the electrical route. With cartridge coils a bum or mis inserted coil can do it. With RBAs it’s generally the screw terminals or a busted wire.

It is most likely an electrical disconnection in one or the other center pins on the tank or the mod. If the Limitless Arms Race mod has a spring loaded center pin that might explain why the SMOK tank works on that mod. The Lyra mod may have a fixed center pin which happens to be too short to make the electrical connection.

A possible fix might be to tease the the Lyra's center pin higher with a tool. Make sure to remove the batteries when you try this or you may short out the battery.

The Lyra does have a spring loaded 510 connection however you may be interested in the below video. It does not explain why one atomizer works and not the other. But if your device is experiencing the same issue, might be a good idea to contact your dealer or Modefined for a warranty claim. Personally I would not use it

Thanks for posting this. I actually have this mod. I’ll check it tomorrow.
