Lostvape URSA Epoch Kit follows closely in chronological order the previous Ursa Cap, the power characteristic (25W Max) between the two devices is identical, the V2 cartridges used are also the same and the capacity of the 1,000mAh battery is also the same . Epoch also adopts side airflow adjustment for precise intake volume, satisfying both wider and narrower vaping preferences. So what is the meaning and what changes between the two devices? Mainly a difference in shape and appearance, on the one hand a sober device (Ursa Cap) while for Epoch Lost Vape he opted for a compelling and phantasmagoric artistic interpretation of the design. The Ursa Epoch is a compact and stylish vaping device, designed for those who want a combination of functionality and design. With its "Pocket" form factor reminiscent of a small matchbox, this kit represents the pinnacle of sophistication and elegance in the world of vaping. The device is surrounded on the sides by a silicone casing that is soft to the touch, and in some cases even phosphorescent for a truly spectacular night-time effect. Furthermore, silicone offers a pleasant and safe feel in the hands. One of the most intriguing features of the Ursa Pocket is the notification LED and 0.42-inch screen, which magically appear out of nowhere when you use the Mod. As I said previously, the notification LED magically appears when you use the Mod. One of its functions is to notify the user of any security alerts. Ursa Epoch has the USB Type-C socket on one side, during charging the Purple LED flashes and when charging is completed the Purple LED remains solid. I also find the LED useful in this respect because through the LED you can quickly get an idea of the progress of the battery charge status, without the need to consult the charge level indicator on the display.

Lost Vape sent me two different colors of Ursa Epoch (Arcade Era & Firefly Planet). Arcade Era features a stunning colorway that immediately catches your attention. The silicone side part is very black, recalling the depths of the most remote space, and is dotted with a myriad of luminous dots that evoke the image of distant planets and stars. This contrast creates a fascinating, almost hypnotic visual effect, reminiscent of a starry night observed through a telescope. The central part in dark and transparent polycarbonate adds further elegance and mystery to the design. It is decorated with bright stripes that appear to float on the surface, accompanied by an enigmatic internal design that stimulates the imagination. Among these details, the writing "Lost Vape" stands out under the surface, which integrates perfectly into the whole, giving a touch of modernity and refinement. The most incredible aspect of this coloring is the play of light which varies depending on the angle of observation. Each change of perspective reveals new nuances and details, making "Arcade Era" a truly dynamic work of art. This iridescent effect not only enhances the beauty of the device, but also transforms it into a unique object that continually enchants and surprises those who observe it.

At first I thought that "Firefly Planet" was a sober colorway compared to the glitzy "Arcade Era", but I was completely wrong. Like the previous colorway, "Firefly Planet" also shows the writing "Lost Vape" through the polycarbonate (this time on both sides). The main motif consists of rows of squares and lines, which seem to recall a navigation screen of some alien spaceship. During the day, in natural light conditions, there are no particular plays of light that stand out. The real metamorphosis happens when you use the device in the evening. In fact, the side part of the device lights up with a surprising effect that truly leaves you speechless. This lighting effect not only captures attention, but completely transforms the aesthetics of the device. Ultimately, "Firefly Planet" is a perfect mix for those who want a touch of originality and surprise. Its night lighting is ideal for those who frequent discos or evening events, guaranteeing to leave everyone speechless. This colorway not only offers an innovative design, but also functionality that adapts perfectly to different social situations.

The 0.42" display of Ursa Epoch, despite the small font, provides all the information useful for vaping in a clear and crisp way. On the display you can read: the battery level, last puff duration, puff counter and of course the set power and value Ohm of resistance.

On one side of Ursa Epoch we find the actual system for regulating the air flow directed towards the Coil. This mechanism offers different steps of gradual customization, and to satisfy different vaping preferences. When the slide is completely closed, the air passes only through that fixed hole positioned slightly above the slide. By using only the fixed hole and keeping the slide closed, restricted MTL (Mouth to Lung) performance is obtained, ideal for those who want a more defined throat hit. By moving the slider you can select a more open MTL flow as you get closer towards the center of the slot, this offers a less pronounced throat hit but generates greater quantities of vapor. If you prefer an RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) vape, simply move the slider from the center to the full opening of the slot.

The base of the Ursa Epoch is narrow and long like the Mod, this footprint on the ground allows the device to be stored in a vertical position when not in use. This is particularly useful for maintaining the order and cleanliness of your space, preventing the device from getting damaged or dirty. The chamber that houses the cartridge is equipped with two powerful magnets, two spring-loaded gold-plated contacts, an automatic shooting sensor and three separate channels that guarantee optimal air flow from the outside towards the coil.

This kit contains a renewed cartridge called "V2" 0.8Ω. The cartridge is made of PCTG and despite the dark color, it offers discreet visual control over the internal e-liquid level. The refill takes place laterally by lifting a silicone rubber, the max capacity is estimated at 2.5ml. The filling hole is sufficiently large, however the lateral position for filling does not allow for total filling. I estimated that introducing more than 2ml of liquid is quite difficult. The cartridges, both the included one and the spare ones, externally report the value of the resistance found inside them. On the bottom of the cartridge there are two magnets that mirror those present on the Mod. According to Lost Vape, the V2 cartridge uses a leak-proof system that has successfully passed countless tests.

In summary, the Ursa Epoch is an excellent choice for those looking for a compact, versatile device with innovative design. Intelligent power management and compatibility with different cartridges, meets the needs of a wide range of users, offering a personalized and enjoyable vaping experience.At the end of this test (as already happened with Ursa cap) I was able to see that there are no defects and Lost Vape's promises regarding the total absence of leaks have been largely maintained, I did not notice even the slightest formation of condensation and this it is an excellent result well above the average for Pod devices. Ursa Epoch Kit is definitely worth considering when you want to purchase a new device.
