I’ve been given this lost vape Thelema Pod mod Kit for the purpose of this review.

boxed 25.jpg

This pod comes in gunmetal, stainless steel and black, and carbon fiber, Navy Seals, and calf leather for nine different style combinations. I received the gunmetal/Ukiran leather model, and it’s stunning.

Let me start by saying, this is not a teeny tiny little pod, and that may be a turn-off for some, but in the pod category we will always have to compromise between size/weight and battery/liquid capacity.

Thelema is approximately 5 5/8” tall by 1 ¼” front to back, and weighs 152 grams. It’s not ginormous, but it is substantial.

The pod holds 4 mls of liquid, and the battery is a healthy 3,000 mAh. Power range is 5-80 watts which adjusts quickly in .5 watt increments.

What I love about the Thelema:

It’s got that classic Lost Vape vibe. Very upscale, sleek face, clean screen, beautifully done tooling and coloring on the leather, options to suit a wide range of aesthetic tastes. The buttons are great, nice and clicky and responsive. I hate mushy buttons.

The drip tip is not proprietary – what! - and how often can you say that about a pod? Go ahead and pop on whatever tip makes your matchy-matchy little heart sing.

4! ml! Pod!!! I carry a pod frequently and my biggest beef is constantly checking to see if it’s getting low. And the bung is large and sturdy, and attached, so I don’t need to use a magnifying glass to fill it, or sweep the floor looking for a minuscule bit of silicone when it inevitably escapes my grasp. Top fill, which we love, right? There is supposed to be a viewing window to see the juice level, but I can’t see through it. Replacement pods are available for a few bucks.pod.jpg

Coil options. .15, .20, .30, .60, and 1.0 are available for this pod, plus there’s an RBA deck.

I’ve been test driving the .2 and .3, as well as the RBA (couple more things to talk about and then a few words about that). Very good flavor and vapor production as you’d expect for the resistance. The coils just slide into the pod.

One thing to note, is that there is an air flow adjuster ring on the bottom of the installed coil which screws off.

Do not throw that away!

Little parts are the devil. I wish the AF was a part of the coil itself.

Other features include 6 color themes and a puff counter on the screen, and super fast type-C charging – 60 minutes to a full charge. The fast charge is great, but I find it a tad inconvenient not being able to use the more common micro USB.

So to sum up, I love the look of it, nice in hand, nice responsive buttons, easy to fill, great battery life and fast charging. Love love love that there’s a compatible RBA (patience, I’m getting to that in a sec).

Needs a better viewing window for the juice, would be nice if the coils had attached air flow adjusters,

From left to right, the gunmetal/Ukiran leather, the gunmetal/Glossy leather, and the SS/Ukiran leather.

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed this review! If you’d like to give the Thelema a try, save a few bucks and use code ELEMA at Sourcemore.com and get your kit for $24.69.

I purchased the RBA separately, so this is kind of a bonus review.

Rba.jpg

It comes with a tiny Allen wrench, extra O rings, screws, two coils, some cotton and a 510 adapter – that’s a really nice touch.

If you’ve used RBAs for AIOs or for tanks that offer compatible rebuildables, this won’t be a challenge at all. Tiny? Absolutely puny. But super easy. Loosen the microscopic screws, the coil legs will be facing the same way, and it’s no problem to hold the wee little coil right over the smiley air hole. Trim the tails and tuck them into the side cutouts, leave a bit of a bunny tail sticking out when the cap goes on. I’d guess the coils included are kanthal, and they read about .5.

Coils that small are fairly fiddly to wrap, imho, but they can be purchased already made. It’s not everyone’s idea of fun, but I prefer the build-my-own option over the prospect of letting a device sit idle for lack of drop-ins.

Thanks, Lilia and Sourcemore for this opportunity to test drive and review the Thelema! And thanks, friends and neighbors, for reading – oh, and don’t forget your code ELEMA!

Great read with good user impressions. Enjoyed this more casual approach very much, thanks.
