Does anyone have any experience with a juice that taste similar to a Newport?

You know what? You totally have to trust me on this one, but once you start vaping it's not going to matter. I started 5 weeks ago and, believe me, I wanted to find something tasted like my brand; otherwise it just wasn't gonna work. My advice is: forget about it. The tobacco flavours that I like actually taste more like pipe flavours than anything resembling cigarettes. I did a gradual cut-down of cigs, and one thing I quickly realized, once my taste buds started coming back to life, is that cigarettes-- no matter what the brand-- taste REALLY BAD. There's just no juice that can resemble it, unless you pour tar and nasty chemicals into it and light it on fire for awhile. Seriously. I'm glad I approached it that way because for a few weeks I was making constant comparisons and so now that I've quit cigs altogether I have that in my head and it keeps me from going back. Vapour just tastes better than that burnt chemically grossness of cigs, no matter what flavour you pick.

i agree with wren. try some samplers from a few recommended juice suppliers and you'll find you'll fall in love with random flavors that taste nothing like what you smoked.
As someone that never smoked menthol - I really enjoyed Hooser E-Cig's Gangsta's ParadICE and it actually made me think that I might be a full-flavor non-menthol cigarette person, but a menthol-loving e-liquid person. Weird, but, whatever. I'd start with a menthol/tobacco based flavor and then work out to different flavors from there. I'm still not sold on all the sweet, artificial flavored stuff that people seem to be in love with... The Gangsta's ParadICE was menthol, watermelon, and something else... and the part of the flavor that got old to me first was definitely the artificial watermelon.
I am also in the camp that you will NOT likely be looking to go back to a newport taste when you get a quality vape of something you really enjoy. I thought i loved camel tobacco...turns out my brain was lying. I completely agree with Wren. Quality advice there.
I was going to say the same thing- just find something you like. A juice will never taste like burning tobacco, paper, chemicals, etc. I thought I would never want fruity flavors, sweet stuff, but you know what? I'm vaping Krispy Treats right now, with raspberry lemonade in my pro-v cartomator.
I don't care for menthol but I've seen several posts saying that Dekang Nuport comes very close to Newports. However, I agree with the other posters. It's much more common that once you start vaping you will much prefer juices that don't resemble smoking cigarettes at all. At this point any harsh tobacco juice makes me nauseous even though I just quit a 2+ PAD cigarette habit.
I agree with what everyone said. Read a thread here somewhere that noobs should stay away from tabacco flavors so that one wouldn't compare vaping flavor to the unmatchable flavor of analogs and might be tempted to sneak an analog once in a while, but I would have to disagree. I have been vaping several (4) tabacco flavors since I started vaping 3 weeks ago and love all 4. I have tried fruity flavors but seems just so weird to me. Have not learned to like sucking then tasting bananas yet. LMAO.
What I did for myself and a couple people when I first started-
Use the box and do a forum search with the brand you're looking for. Read a lot of threads and keep track of the ones you see mentioned a lot. I got pretty lucky and found one I really liked doing that. You might need to try two or three. Obviously it's not going to taste like your brand of cig- but close. I actually found I liked the e-liquid better than my brand.
Eventually you'll probably move on, but sometimes people need something close when they start.

It may depend on what kind of person and what kind of smoker you are... but the shock of going straight to strawberry shortcake from Newports (a cigarette that is strong both on tobacco and menthol flavor) I think is more likely to drive a person back to smoking than vaporizing something that is similar but different. At this point tobacco flavors are way more comfortable to me than anything remotely sweet. Sweetness and odd flavoring makes me feel like I'm smoking swisher-sweet or one of those ghetto flavored cigarillos that I didn't try more than once when I was a teenager.
Some flavors are more forgiving in this respect than others... Coffee is totally tolerable. I'm really eager to try my VR4 that I've got, once have a tank to put it in... I just feel like coming from a full-flavored variety of cigarette the fruits should probably be avoided initially in favor of things with a little bite, favoring bitter or more subdued subtle flavors. Coffee, tobacco, mint (not subdued, but definitely familiar), chai... Stuff like that, distinct flavors favoring herbal over fruity.
I'm pretty new, so I haven't ventured into much of the fruity territory... but I'm happy with what I've gotten so far.
I'm totally biased towards this place, since it's a local plug for me and the only place I can walk into and buy thing, but I am currently very much enjoying the juice from vaperite.com - They are specializing in natural and organic liquids and make great tobacco based flavors. They also have other stuff, butterscotch, strawberry shortcake, whatever... but I haven't tried them. I haven't tried this either, but I think it sounds about right for an ex-newport smoker: Mint Black tea | VR Vape Juice | Vaperite E-Juices | Vaperite.com Mint Black Tea.
my daughter was a newport smoker, and she likes the ice ice by Vape Dudes (and you get 40% off your first juice order!) Make sure to get regular flavor (not extra flavor) on that one because it's STRONG,,,,,,,,we get everythng else BUT the ice ice in extra flavor, but that one is just too strong,,,,,,
Vape dudes standard is 50pg and 50vg and we find that's good for the ice ice (although most of the others we get 70pg/30vg)
just some ideas,,,,,,,
although I will say I agree with what most everyone says,,,,,,,,we vape far more of the sweet and fruit flavors now,,,,I rarely go for a menthol, although I do like them occasionally

Really hate to look like I'm just here to promote this company, but after my last post I found this product, and I have only purchased from two places so I have limited knowledge.

I have been vaping about a month coming from 2p/day Newports for 25 years. My first 10 orders contained several Newport themed juices. From Nuport to New/Port it did not matter they all tasted terrible. 1 hit and I had to empty the carts. I finally gave up on finding the "Newport" of ejuice and fell in love with the bakery and fruit juices. I have found a menthol to replace my cigarette urges from V2. Their menthol is my favorite to date but the juice is expensive though. My menthol urges are declining. I typically carry a cart of menthol, several snickerdoodle and a couple carts of dragonblood, tigerblood, or berries and cream.
same story as everyone else here....you won't find anything that truly tastes like a cigarette, and you won't want that taste after you've found your first really great vape.....i'm not big on menthol, but i do like the fire/ice blend that smokecignals does....pretty good stuff....menthol goodness.
I smoked Newports for 38 years. Of the many menthols I tried right away, Dukangs Nuport is okay, so is Gangstas ParadIce but neither tastes like a Newport exactly..and I found that in 3 days my favorite was Peach Champagne. I was going to order the Ice Ice from Vape Dudes and still might but for whatever reason I just don't care about something that tastes like a Newport already..especially not after having a real one the other evening and finding that it tasted awful compared to the Peach Champagne.
