I use stevia liquid that has zero add in's and its a great option, I also have tried liquid in the raw and agave liquid both of which are zero additive....Stevia is a great option if you cant get a hold of em or prefer the taste, The in the raw and the agave gunked up coils fast and the agave gave a caramel flavor if used in a low ohm rda where it got hot. I cant say any of them are safe but they did work and besides gunky coils could all have a purpose in your DIY.

I've read that we can use stevia, and since I use it in my tea I bought some liquid organic stevia at Trader Joe's (since it had no additives in it), but I personally found it bitter in a juice mix. Some folks here really enjoy it tho...maybe just the way I used it!

The true sugars I believe are a no-go due to damaging coils, and not being healthy for inhalation. Liquid sugar would be a true sugar? I've never seen it mentioned here, so I wouldn't try it. I'm no expert, mind you, just studying the subject here!!

I suspect BT puts sucralose or other sweetener in cigs. I'm not as worried about inhaling stevia as some of the other things I've inhaled by choice or otherwise. At least it comes from a plant.

I've been in Hawaii when they burn the cane fields and everyone gets to breathe that sugar smoke for miles. If it was that bad, the govt would ban it. Maybe not...

Has anyone used both ethyl malto and stevia that can give a comparison? The wife says she has some EM that I didn't know we had. I would hate to buy a bottle of stevia and only need a drop at a time.

I've never tried the stevia, but EM isn't a sweetener. Imo, it only serves to meld flavors together slightly and provide a very slight cotton candy-ish background flavor. It also dulls the crap out of my mixes and I've pretty much stopped using it because of that. A sweetener (like ez sweets or TFA Sweetener) actually provides a sweet/sugary sensation on the tongue without diminishing the mix's flavor profile.

I tried some stevia extract (ingredients: water, stevia rebaudiana extract, 18% alcohol). I don't like it in my tea because of the distinctive flavor. In a vape, I get that same flavor, but it's more enveloping that just drinking something with it. I would not recommend it unless you already know you like that taste. Blech! But if you like it, you might want to just buy the plant and make your own.

I also had a stevia houseplant. I played with water, with PG, and with alcohol on fresh and dried leaves, harvesting right as blooms developed and leaves were at their sweetest. It extracts very easily, as would be expected. I say 'as expected' because even a little 1cm square of leaf torn off the plant, set on your tongue, is enough to sweeten your whole mouth. All my extracts (brews? steeps? whatever; I didn't use heat) were sweet. But all had that same stevia flavor, so I couldn't use it.

I went to a store in SoCal tonight called Sprouts. They had stevia powder in jars and packets and a selection of small bottles of liquid. I checked the ingredients on them. One started with agave. another with dextrose. Most were over $6 for a small amount. The one that had 40 packets was 2.79 but had the dextrose. There wasn't a Trader Joes close enough to check them out.

Finally got around to buying some liquid stevia. Safeway has sucralose, monk fruit and stevia liquid sweeteners. The stevia was $3.99 for 50ml. The ingredients are water, erythritol, stevia, and then the other stuff. A drop is very sweet to me. I'm going to try a couple of drops in a couple ml of not sweet juice. FYI

I've used stevia for years so I'm used to the taste. I tried some liquid stevia in my e-juice...it didn't turn out so well. Mine has De-ionized water, organic stevia and 11% alcohol. The taste was pleasant at first, but after awhile it started to taste...toasted, but not bad. Then it turned my juice really dark and thick and definitely tasted burnt - yuck! I've done a lot of research on it and it's all the same: use 100% stevia without anything added to it. Please report back and let us know how it goes!

That bottle will last you forever, in juice, coffee...whatever you want.

It does have a lingering anise-like flavor when you consume it, but I've found I can't really taste that when vaping. It is sweeter than EM, but then again I use EM in very very low doses as well.

But TBH I don't really use it in my juice. Was just playing around with stuff.
