So I have used mesh a couple times before and never enjoyed it. So I'm not very experienced. However with the kylin all in one I'm really enjoying the flavor that I'm getting but the design is sort of based on an old school genny attomizer with actual metal cables that help to get the e-juice to come up into the wicking. Well it's working too well I think and it's flooding. Like I'll take a puff and I'll get a little Ejuice in my mouth not from it spitting or popping it's not spit back at least I don't think it is it's more like I'm actually slurping e-juice up with a straw. I took some pictures after I had held it straight up right and fired it numerous times to try to sort of get some of the eliquid out of the wick and dry it out a little bit so I have the appearance of kind of dry cotton but within 20 seconds of me taking the picture the thing was completely oversaturated again and I'm back to drinking juice.

I'm absolutely terrified of getting a dry hit so I'm happy that it works so well and that these cables really work but I also would like to not drink my e-juice. Does anyone have any idea on how I can fix this? I was speaking with someone and they said that I should thin out the tails but I feel like that's going to make it Wick even faster but again I don't know that much about mesh...thanks! This picture is the one that I took after I held my device straight up in the air and just fired it to try to reduce the amount of eliquid so my intention was to dry it out

I dont own this device soo i dont know how the wicking holes are or anything...
But i think the person that told you to thin out the tails the reason he said that its cause i have seen many people say that if the cotton touches he bell/chimney then it can draw juice up as u puff....

In my experience with rtas this pnly happened when i had tooo much flow pf juice to he wick and then ofc some juice could travel up throught the chimney...
Just saying that thinnig he tails maybe its not totally wrong but...

If u thin them wont u get flooding and maybe spitback?? Or leaks??

I wonder also

Edit....now i look at it and think about it...maybe needs more cotton like there some tiny spots that are not filled??? I am not sure i try imagine how it works from he pic..
U gonna work it out i am sure

You know what that thing you said about the cotton touching the Bell could allow for juice to travel directly up it I think that's exactly what's happening. Because it's literally coming up the side of the drip tip exactly where the cotton is on each side. So that is absolutely something I'm going to try and I think that will probably work. I don't know for sure that it is touching but it seems like that makes the most sense. I mean I guess I feel kind of silly complaining because my mesh Vape is too wet when most people are complaining that they're getting a dry hit LOL but who wants juice in their mouth I've never had this happen with any coil in my life so it's very confusing. Thank you so much for your input that does makebso much sense.

Dang I just took the top part of it off it's weird the way this thing is configured and it has a block so that it can't flow up from the side so now I'm even more confused lol. I'm still going to try reconfiguring the wick

Don't have that device, and don't like mesh myself, but it sounds to me like you're pulling too hard on too restrictive an air flow setting.
I thought of that too. Wide open it doesn't provide a very good vape but you still get juice in your mouth. All of these things makes so much sense but it doesn't seem to make a difference I think that the design does has the mesh way too close to my mouth I'm starting to think maybe it's the wattage it's too low and it's just pulling juice into my mouth instead of vaporizing it but I am exhaling Vapor so I guess we'll just have to play around with it. Thank you for your input

What VG/PG ratio juice are you using? Might just be too thin (too much PG) I am not familiar with that device but maybe it's working (wicking) so well you just need more VG in your juice. Don't fear "dry hits"... just do a primer puff now and then to keep the wick saturated.

Try more cotton....or maybe fluff it more cause from the pic i feel like the endges of the cotton dont fill 100% the juice wells if i say it correct...maybe u just got too much flow of juice and as u said the wattage is low and u dont vaporise it or get spitback and since its top airflow u can have leak to realise the problem...

Then maybe should try check if the whole thing seal properly cause maybe u dont have good vacum created into the juice tank part...and there is nothing to keep he juice running to cotton...

If u dont forget it would be nice to tell us what was the problem when u solve it cause i am curious ahhahaha :D

So far what I did was I up the wattage about 5 Watts above what I had it at so instead of 25 I'm at 30 and it did decrease the issue enough that I actually stopped thinking about it because I haven't gotten juice in my mouth. I also realize that for whatever reason I was vaping with the device up and down like directly up and down like some sort of weirdo I don't know why I was doing that but now that I'm tipping it like you normally would it also seems to reduce it. And now I'm having a lovely Vape I actually enjoy the mesh which I have never liked mesh in my life other than commercial coils and I would actually highly recommend the product other than the obnoxious branding on the back of it. Like I don't know why they chose to write in 1 and 1/2 inch letters kylin on the back of a beautiful product like this

I wanted to thank everyone for their input. I've been using it steadily and I did up the wattage a little bit I haven't rewicked it or modified the wick but I also realized I was vaping it straight up and down which I don't know why I was doing that. Now I would think tipping it would make it drain juice even worse but it doesn't it hasn't been going in my mouth. So instead of 25 watts I'm using 30 the cotton has broken in a little bit better so maybe it's holding juice better rather than letting me suck the juice out of hit LOL and I'm tipping it like a normal person would when they're vaping. I'm having an absolutely lovely vape and I highly recommend the kylin all in one even for people that don't like mesh because I like this mesh I'm not even using any mesh that came with it I'm just using my Vandy Vape screen that I cut a piece out

That probably fixed it because of what was being said already-- You don't actually need more wick with that type of tank (I own a similar setup but not that one in particular) because you really kind of aren't ah, wicking all the way from the bottom of the tank, you are JUST using your cotton/rayon for the top area where you need a lot less wick, and you may find you can get away with less. Vaping it "Straight up" would increase the wicking problem because you are (by doing that) basically making sure that ALL the wick you have is completely saturated and bringing juice to your mouth.

Tilting it most likely is reducing the amount of wick directly in contact with the juice if that makes sense.

I was very dubious about how I was supposed to wick my Brunhilde and how little wick it needs frankly but that is how it likes to be so that is how it is.

Anyway glad you fixed your issue these tanks are like the fact that when you add two coils you halve the resistance, it makes NO sense to me, it will NEVER make sense to me but I just kind of have to accept it.
