Hello once again and welcome to my review of the Thoth T from Kumiho. This device was sent to me from HEALTHCABIN and I'll leave a link to it later in the review. The Thoth T is a very simple device having only 1 button acting as the fire button and on/off button. There is no wattage adjustment because the device uses smart wattage by reading and applying the correct wattage to the installed pod. There is airflow adjustment by way of a slider control, but no display screen. This will be somewhat of a short review because of it's simple operation which is basically charge it , fill it and vape it.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The fist thing I noticed before even opening the box was how heavy it was. As the device is simple so is the packaging but it's done nicely showing the device through a thin plastic window.

A inner bottom box slides out containing the device and a small box below it that holds the included lanyard chain.

The device comes with only 1 pod ( 0.8Ω ) which is a big con for me, no charge cable either but a user manual is included. Healthcabin sent me a 0.6Ω pod as well for testing.

I really like the appearance of the Thoth T and it's weight for a device of this size shows how well built it is ( very heavy ). As always I charged the device to full capacity before testing began. The device charges at 1A and is pretty quick to charge the 1300mAh internal battery.

The USB-C charge port is up top on one side of the device, above it is a very tiny but bright LED showing the progress of charging. When charging the LED light will blink slowly until a full charge is achieved and then will remain solidly lit.

The pod connects as most devices of this size do using magnets that are very strong, they actually will pull the pod out of your hand when connecting it to the device.

I give Kumiho a big thumbs up for using a clear pod that makes viewing juice levels a breeze, there is a minimum fill line towards the bottom of the pod, you can't see it without removing the pod from the device but just get into the habit of refilling the pod when juice levels can't be seen and you should be just fine. The fill port is in a spot that you don't see very often and has a large enough opening that should be fine with any size bottle tip.

The device has a lanyard attachment and comes with a strong metal chain lanyard and with it's weight ( 143 grams ) it might come in handy plus the metal chain matches the Thoth T nicely.

The device allows you to fire it manually with the fire button or use the auto draw feature, both work just fine. There is knurling on the fire button which enhances the appearance of the device but it has no real use other than being cosmetically attractive. The fire button also acts as the on/off button also, to turn the device on/off press the button 5 times quickly.

On the side with the fidget spinner lays the adjustable airflow control which consists of 3 holes of different sizes that can be opened up for a tight RDL vape or closed down for a tight MTL vape, even with the airflow closed off completely the device can be vaped ( very tight MTL ). As far as the fidget spinner goes I do find myself inadvertently spinning it.

The device has a look that really appeals to me from all angles, in front the circular silicone rubber does aid when gripping the device and the simple look in back works as well. Hand fit is good.

    FINAL THOUGHTS

There is really only a couple of cons that I have with this device being only 1 pod is included with it. I feel that devices should have 2 pods included in case 1 is defective from manufacturing, it does happen and with only 1 pod included you would be dead in the water.

My 2nd con is also a big one being that there is no way to deactivate the fire button so if carried in a pants pocket it can accidentally be fired. As far as the fidget spinner goes I could have done without it because as I mentioned earlier I'm always spinning it LOL.

I also wish there was a middle ground on the battery strength LED light, not having to wait for the LED to flash 10 times telling you to charge it.

Now to the pros of the device, there is no need to make wattage adjustments because the smart wattage feature it has reads the the pod being used and applies the correct wattage to the pod.

Having adjustable airflow is a big plus and it does a pretty good job, it's not the smoothest but it works just fine and is fairly quiet also.

Putting out a maximum of 30 watts is another pro for me and the large 1300mAh internal battery. The pod is a sipper of juice and not a guzzler. Constant power output is a big plus as well. The power output works well and flavor is good using both pods that were provided to me.

So all in all I do like the Thoth T from Kumiho for all the reasons mentioned. If you would like to purchase the Thoth T from Healthcabin a link is provided for you below.

I would like to thank Sue and Healthcabin for providing the Thoth T from Kumiho for the purpose of my review, I also want to thank all of you that read my reviews.

    THANK YOU
