Have anyone experienced this error before? The mod only displays 9.9 ohm . Sometimes, when I hold the atomizer in a certain position it reads the coil well but a few puffs later it showed "Temperature too high". Now I m not able to turn it on..I don t know,it seems like it doesn t charge..
I hope I ve explained the issue correctlty. SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH

Display showing 9.9 ohm usually means a short in the coil. You should replace it with a new one.

Temp too high means the circuit board has reached too high of a temperature and will shut down. If it did shut down, you could try 5 rapid clicks to try to turn it back on once it has had the opportunity to cool off.

More important, what is causing the circuit board to have too high a temperature?

If it's not the coil, it could be the 510 connection (the tank OR the mod) try gently swabbing out the 510 housing inside the mod, and well, see if it degunks and or you can (Gently) pry it in the upward direction. If it's the tank, well try it on another mod if you have one, and see if it will read on THAT mod, and if it won't well, that isolates your problem to the 510 pin (most likely). But make sure you try and address each part, sometimes it is NOTHING "defective" with either honestly, other than some tanks have 510 pins that are short (you can try turning the screw inside the tank a few turns to see if that lengthens the tank pin enough and you could also try using a heat sink if it's an incompatibility between tank and mod.

I guess it's also possible the mod's board is having a freak out if it's giving you temperature messages although it's equally likely you MAY have inadvertently put it in some "mode" you shouldn't i.e. if your coils are kanthal, you can't use TC.

I suspect the connection or the mod's board since you can intermittently sometimes get a puff or two in.

Start with the 510 though.

Thanks Anna
Recently I went to 2 different vape shops . One guy said that is the 510 connector of the mod..the other guy said is because of the 510 pin of the atomizer

Well, clearly you need these two guys to meet, and settle it by a "mud wrestle off."

It could be both. I doubt it's both. But SURROUNDED by mods and tanks, either ONE of them should have been able to PROVE it to you, by either making the mod work on different tanks, or different tanks work on your MOD, or even, oh, trying a heatsink in the NOT totally implausible possibility that it's both. I mean, it's fairly implausible as the tank AND mod were quite LITERALLY designed for each other.

So, unless you want to watch two adult vape staff wrestle to their conclusion (which I totally would want to) I suggest you go to one or the other and state, '"I NEED PROOF."

Best of luck,

Anna
