I love this! I have been using my Protank II for almost a week now. I think it is the very best tank I have used. I own several Vivi Nova's, clearomizers, and Protanks, but this rocks. First the glass is thick and easy to replace. It allows me to use all of my drip tips but the one included is a nice stainless steel shape. Taking it apart for cleaning is so easy. There are generous o-rings to ensure no leaking and the bottom coil works just great, lots of vapor and taste.

I am using this on my Vamo and it looks sexy on there! I ordered another one from Altsmoke.com yesterday and I hope they don't sell out before I get it.

Highly recommend this tank if you like the protank, bottom coils, glass tanks, using your own drip tips, and easy cleaning. I think it even uses the old protank replacement wicks.

Sorry to hear that, mine works great on my Ego Twist too.

i strictly buy from FSUSA and was going to upgrade to a Protank but they said they just got a huge shipment in and have had 5 different people come in with shorted ego-c batteries. they said they were going to stop selling them and void the warranty for the batteries if you bought one and they blow.

I am in complete agreement with you. Kanger seems to have nailed it with the ProTank2.

EDIT: ..and it's a perfect fit on top of my ProVari. Mod, Protank2, and drip tip look like a three-stage rocket. :)

This tank looks great. I've been considering getting one ever since they've come out.

I walked into a vape shop not too long ago and talked to them about the original protank (which I owned already). They told me the glass in them is glued or epoxied to the metal. They also told me that the tank would come apart when it would get overheated several times. Scary! I don't know how true this is but has sort of steered me away from using it. Can anyone here verify the veracity of this claim?

I like that the portank 2 has a replaceable glass portion. Very cool. Also I love the smaller size.

I'm sure I'll get one eventually but I've been rocking my Nimbus clone for a week now and love it.

By the way, this is my first post...so uh, hello all! I'm glad I (finally) joined this forum.

I haven't either, but the idea that it can really freaks me out. Besides, if people are having whole tanks fall apart on them, maybe I have little microscopic pieces of epoxy floating around in my juice when I use it if I sit down and chain vape?

I'll take the no epoxy version over the one with epoxy for sure. I do love the performance on my Protank, especially after rebuilding the heads. If you build your own coils, try doing a rebuild on it with ceramic wick and cotton flavor wick. It's awesome.

I've owned 6 protanks. One of them was poorly glued right out of the box. The bottom metal ring would wobble. I took it apart, cleaned it with acetone and reglued it with krazy glue glass glue which worked fine. The glue was some type of softish glue, not epoxy. This new design seems far better, following the design of high end genesis style attys with regard to the tank. I'll try one out once my local shops get stock
