Could anyone recommend a tank that will take Kanger's SSOC coils? I want a tank with a narrow bore drip tip and adjustable airflow that does not leak. It is surprising to me but, based on my shopping, it looks like most or all Kanger tanks have a reputation for leaking? It also looks like everything Kanger makes comes with a wide bore tip.

Its usually not the tank that leaks unless your missing or have damaged orings. The coil is usually the cause of the leak.
If these are your coils then here's some videos to help you troubleshoot the leaking. I just searched kanger ssocc coil leaking in YouTube.

Hi steakbean. Welcome to the ECF.

I have lots of SubTank and TopTank Mini's that are both authentic and clones. Haven't had any real leaking issues.

I also have one of these....

Wotofo Serpent Sub Tank Atomizer

Wotofo Serpent Sub Tank | 22mm Flavor Sub-Ohm Tank

... which can run either the Kanger Coil Heads or the Sub/TopTank Mini RBA section. It doesn't leak at all.

I use the Kanger Toptanks and never had one leak with stock coils, or the RBA. I exchange the drip tip on them though as I don't like the big bore tips either.
I wondered if some of the reports of leaking were due to user errors like over filling, and was hoping to find someone who had a good Kanger tank experience. I bought a kit and several replacement coil packs. The kit came with a Kanger tank that's wide open and cannot be adjusted. I expect I will only be using pre-made Kanger coils and will probably try one of the Toptanks based on your recommendation. I lay my mod and tank around on its side a lot and anti-leaking tanks are a necessity for me.

Laying your mods with tanks attached on its side may be the problem with leaking that your dealing with. Also when you fill your tanks you want to be sure the AFC valve is closed off. If you have a tank that the AFC can't be adjusted then you can wrap a cloth or something over the holes while filling I guess.

My toptank mini leaked like crazy. After an o-ring change and putting in the RBA, it is not leaking. I also learned that you cannot let the liquid go below the wick holes or it will leak. The wick holes are pretty far up the tank so you have to refill more often than you might otherwise think from just looking at the tank capacity spec.

It will leak if you lay it on its side.

I am only using an Aspire Nautilus 2 and have no leaking issues even laying it on its side. It is one of many reasons I like the Nautilus so much. I would like to find a Kanger tank I like as well as the Nautilus to use all the replacement coils I bought. When I check out any tanks online they all seem to have reports of leaking and Kanger tanks seem to have more of these reports than other brands. I have considered trashing the 15 Kanger replacement coils I bought with the Kanger starter kit and just buy another Nautilus 2.

Toptank Mini's or Subtank Mini's won't leak with the coils you mentioned , much better vaping experience than the Nautilus tanks imo and Nautilus tanks are all i used for years .

I vape the Kanger tanks at under 20 watts , they work great. If you type in any tank maker and put leaking in the search box all of them will have people complaining , Kanger is no worse than any other and imo one of the top manufacturers of tanks.

Once you lay the tank on its side and expose the coils airhole(s) it probably will leak cause you would be breaking the vacuum. It could be a drawback of using stock coils and/or the vertical coils. Maybe try with a Qtip soaked in juice give all the orings a wipe before putting the unit back together or remove all the orings, clean the area under and reseat the rings. The glass tube might not be true so change if you can the glass or flip it around and reseat. There is a few things you can try to hopefully stop the leaking.
We use the subtank mini with both the stock cage and bellcaps from Fasttech probably since they first came out. I don't use the stock coils, only the RBA. My wife always sets hers on its side and it never has leaked, could be a RBA thing or the rayon wicking or how I wick it...I dunno. Its not like I got only a couple I use but well over a dozen with at least 4-6 loaded with juice sitting infront of me all the time and none of them leak from setting on their side or sitting for a length of time.
So many complain about kanger leaking but back in the day when I started with evods, T3s, protank 1,2 and mini and now the subtank mini none of them have leaked for me or have had problems, also I was rebuilding the coils in all of them could have made all the difference in my kanger vape experience.
No matter what atty you own IMO using the stock coils suck so learning to rebuild those stock coils or using the RBA will make all the difference.

That sounds like good advice but I don't want to work that hard. Even pipe smoking was way easier that that. I would like things to work as easy as smoking cigarettes. It is good to hear you have had some good experience with some Kanger tanks. I am not having any leaking issues with my one good Aspire tank and am trying to choose a new tank that takes Kanger SSOC coils for a differen new mod. While shopping and reading reviews I noticed lots of people had leaks with Kanger tanks. Maybe there are simply lots more Kanger tanks out there.

I thought it might be something like that but I can not imagine anything working better than my Nautilus 2. The more I hear from everybody the more I feel like s Kanger tank will be fine.

I like a tight draw, high resistance, and low wattage. Sounds like we have similar preferences and I should fine a Kanger tank.

Glad no leaking is happening! I have been using my Evic Mini with Sub Tank Mini but, I still use the RBA (opposed to stock/SSOC coil) with a 1.65 Ohm single coil @ 8 watts. Set to the tightest draw is very comparable to my MVP with Kangertech Emow tank with a 1.5 ohm coil running the same wattage. I made that coil on March 13th and it still tastes like a new coil but, I only run Unflavored through it.
