I just saw that Kanger is planning on rolling out a new TC mod the
Kanger KBOX Mini Platinum mod TC 60W (Stainless steel)

I saw a rollout date for around Dec 10th. Looks just like the KBOX Mini. I like the stainless steel case. I haven't seen any prices for it yet.

A spring-loaded 510, TC, 60W...so far so good. Will be interesting to see which wires it supports, how accurate the board is, and whether or not it is firmware-upgradeable. The stainless body is appealing and looks sharp. It's about time they made a box mod which I could seriously consider.

Never ordered from them, don't have any experience either way. I did see at several other places for pre-sale today for roughly the same price. That price though is just too high right now for what it is. I like the looks of it, but definitely a wait and see mode.

i have this. TC works great. Too bad cant find way to adjust the wattage power on TC mode. Only able to adjust temperature. The menu and settings are similar with the wismec RX200

Got platinum kbox mini 60W right before NY.

1. battery door is sliding, buttons rattle
2.TC is somehow works on Ni200. Power level in TC mode isnt adjustable and locked on 60W, so overheat at start is very big, really feel push at start, then TC is being activated and burns proper.
3. TC mode on Ti doesnt work - burns coil in a second.
4. notebook doesnt recognize box as USB device - suggest no firmware upgrades will be available. (tested also Evic VTC Mini and Wismec RX200 - both are shown as connected usb devices).

kanger produced useless device with a pretty look asked them 2 times about firmware upgrade release plans - no answers other than "currently unavailable". so sad and even more after seeing kbox mini kit with the same box that have SS support and extended to 75W power output - it seems that it have updated firmware flashed in.
