so I got my itaste last week and love it, however ive noticed that while I vape and drive, when I leave it to rest and it gets somewhat cold, it goes to NON, and I have to keep reattaching the tank to the device

I use heat in the car but I don't like alot

anyone else have this issue or know if the cold affects these devices or any at all? I don't have any issues with my halo tritons with cold temps

thanks

That happens sometimes with my iTaste VV which is super similar to the MVP and i think its due to the connection between the tank and the battery, I don't know is the temperature has anything to do with it, but I wouldn't really know I just press the tank down extra hard when screwing it back on and that usually works for me

yeah it takes a few tries and I guess it works because of the warmth from my hands but im finding it to be a real pain in the ......

I thought if you tightened tanks too hard its bad for them and the mod ecig, but I dunno for sure

Yeah you don't want to overtighten the tank at all, what happens is the bottom of the coil touches the 510 connector on MVP/mod and if tightened down hard will slowly push the connector down into the mod until it becomes difficult to make a connection with some attachments.

I've had mine in a backpack walking several miles in extreme cold with no issues, but I generally let it come back to room temp like all electronics. Cold weather affects batteries & electronics; it lengthens the life of batteries but they hold less charge when cold. It causes wiring to expand & contract, but that'd eventually leave you with a total NON due to popped solder joints and such. If a device is cold then warm it can cause condensation, but I can't see how the heat from your hands would be changing things.
