I'm looking to purchase this mod. It has everything I'm looking for, and it has the design and form factor that I want in my collection. I can't find any youtube videos, or good images for that matter that show the updated mod (the spring loaded 510, revised battery compartment, etc) does anyone know of a good video for this? I've looked at the Originvapes.com images and they don't really show me any good uppy closeies.

Thanks!

I really wanted to find things wrong with it, as I am (or was ;) ) a loyal mech user, but it's really an awesome device. Performance is perfect, it's been 100% reliable, and feels solid, not much more to ask for!

The only potentially "major" issue I've found so far is the paint doesn't hold up well to being thrown in pockets with keys, pocket knives, etc. Nowhere near as bad as some paints used on boxes, but the edges of the mod and edges of cutout areas are starting to show some of the metal underneath. Personally I don't care about a worn looking finish, but if it bothers you then I'd suggest dedicating a pocket free of sharp/rough objects to avoid scratches and scuffs. To be fair I have some hard anodized flashlights that also wear out spending time in my pockets, so I can't blame the ipv too much I guess ;)

A minor annoyance is also that the touch sensor only works when the device is in "stand-by" mode so if you have it sitting for a long period of time you must press the main fire button first before the touch sensor will start working again, but after that it's been working 100% for me.

Go ahead and pull the trigger I can't imagine you'd be disappointed!
