IPV mini 2 w/ Sense Herakles tank- what coils should I get?

Brand new to vaping- 4 days without cigarettes! Got my setup from a local shop with some friends input. I needed the face to face tutorials but I spent a lot more than if I got it off the internet. Definitely learned my lesson, though will stick with the internet for hardware.

I know that eventually I will have to replace the coils for my Sense Herakles. Currently running the .6 ohms it came installed with- it also comes with .2 ohms coils which I haven't tried yet

How often do you replace coils?

Should I get .6 ohms or .2? What difference does it make? I am running my ipv mini 2 at 50w because I read that the .6 is best from 50 and up. I had started at 35w but I am okay with 50

Any suggestions on good places to get replacement coils? Don't think I am ready to start building yet.

Hello and welcome to the forum @davnich. Glad to have you here!

According to this review the recommended wattage for the 0.2Ω coils is 30-75watts. You can also use the Aspire Atlantis coils in the Herakles tank.

Here are the recommended wattage (per Aspire) for their new v2 coils.
1. 20-30W (0.5Ω coil)
2. 40-50W (1Ω coil)
3. 70-80W (0.3Ω coil)

I usually use vapecrawler to determine where to find vape hardware/coils. If you find a place you like post back here and we can tell you if the site is reliable.

How long your coils will last is dependent on how much you vape (mls/day) and the type of juice you use. Dark colored, sweet, complex flavors will "gunk" up a coil much faster than light colored juice.

I would use the 0.5 coils cause at 0.2 you are using so much battery power and with one battery it won't last very long. I replacing weekly or biweekly is average. It depends on frequency of use and the juice you're using.

I hate to go against what aspire recommends but I have never went by any recommendation on power. There are so many variables that can affect that number its useless. Simply start low and turn it up till you like the way it vapes. It wont self destruct if its not what they say it can do. That aside I would go for the .5. That would give you the best all around.
