Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong thread. I just purchased the ipv D2 mod after getting rid of my ipv Mini 2. As far as looks and and the overall feel go, I do miss my ipv Mini 2, the silicone case was way better feeling and I did not have to take it off every time I wanted to change batterys. Aside from that the IPV d2 is awesome, it's smaller, 75w of power, and has temp control. Just wanted to hear some opinions comparing both from fellow vapers who have experience with both devices.

Well, I can say that the vape on the Yihi-powered IPV D2 is "cleaner" and more accurate than the eVic VT (which has been proven in testing to be "underpowered" at a given temp compared to other boards).

But the eVic Mini has a much much nicer screen, a (slightly) better interface, a (hopefully) better/more durable finish on the housing, a traditional micro USB charge port, it's more attractive looking, and Joyetech QC is among the best in the Chinese mod business (Pioneer4You, not so much).

Even so, for me, the D2 is still the best choice, mostly due to the Yihi board and the extra 15 watts in Power mode.

Also, the sleeve on the D2 is dead simple to slide on and off. I can have it off in a second, pop the battery door, pop in a new battery, replace the door, click five times to power up, and have the sleeve back on the device before it's done booting up, without removing my atomizer.

And even with the sleeve, you can change batteries a damn sight faster than dicking around with that screw cap on the IPV Mini/Mini 2.

Still have my 2 mini but the resistance constantly changes, with a point 2 ohm coil when the device reads it a 1 or 2 ohms the hit is overpowering, mostly just nasty. I never knew what I was going to get one puff to the next. That is why I grabbed the D2 with the temp control, if it works, and it does, there are no surprises.

Was hesitant at buying any P4U product after the crappy ipv2mini, but so far am pleased with the D2.
Size/feel/weight/accuracy/ease of use/battery life/50 joules of power, all very acceptable/adequate imho.
"So far" it is a win.

Only time will tell my mini v2 took a beating went everywhere with me but the d2 I find to be a lot more delicate and always worried about damaging it but as far as battery life goes the d2 is way better especially when using tc. But your right I did like the weight of the mini and the way it felt in my hands but that's subjective others may prefer the light weight d2. But I like heavy mods I'm loving my dovpo guardian 1.5 it's a thug if you drop it you'll probably damage the concrete.
