Hello and welcome back friends for todays review of the Endura Apex Kit from Innokin. I was surprised after opening the package that it was a tube styled device because you don't see many of these now days or at least ones with a 510 connection and a wattage adjustment. The Endura Apex stand about the same size or slightly shorter than your typical box mod with a atomizer connected which is good, I am not fond of tall tube devices because they fall over to easy and if a glass atomizer is attached you stand the chance of breaking it. The tank with this kit has a protective metal cage around the glass that is color coded with the device for a nice look. Prior to my review of the Endura Apex Kit lets find out a little about it with some information from Innokin.

The first thing that I wanted to do was check to see to battery strength and find out how full the battery was so I plugged in a type-c charge cord and found the Black one was fully charged while the Green Endura needed some charging before it was full. The power button has a bright LED that surrounds it using a 3 color battery indicator, each time the button is pressed the battery indicator LED will illuminate and shows the strength of the battery. To turn the device on/off press the power button 3 times.

    GREEN - 100-30%

    YELLOW - 30-10%

    RED - 10% And Under

While the Endura was charging I wanted to check out the Prism Apex tank, as you can see by the 510 drip tip this is a MTL atomizer with fully adjustable airflow that can give a tight MTL draw or a loose MTL draw and could be used for a very RDL vape but that's not what it's intended for.

The 510 drip tip can be changed out to one of your own if you wish but the supplied drip tip is comfortable and has a nice bore size so I saw no need to switch to one of my own. At the base of the tank are 4 airflow inlet adjustment holes, when the tank is attached adjustment of the airflow can be tricky if the tank isn't screwed down tightly, you may want to adjust the airflow prior to installing the tank on the device.

The Prism Apex tank is glass and has a protective metal cage surrounding it from accidental falls, even though the cage protects the glass there is still plenty of open glass to view the liquid level inside. The metal cage also adds a nice decorative appearance to the mix.

I wanted to prime the preinstalled 0.9Ω Prism S Mesh coil with a few drops of liquid to help speed up saturation of the coil so I unscrewed the bottom cap and pulled the coil to prime it and found it has flat spots that need to line up with the flat spots on the tank as many coils do. Once primed I lined up the coil so it can be pushed down into place and be fully seated inside the tank.

Having top fill on the Prism is a welcome site and the top cap has knurling surrounding it making it very easy to unscrew for fill ups of juice and it seals back up nice and tight.

Once the top cap is removed you'll notice a kidney shaped fill slot on 1 side of the center airflow chimney and a smaller hole that allows air to escape when filling preventing any messes.

Now that the tank has been covered lets turn our attention to the Endura mod with it's internal 1800mAh battery. The paint finish has almost a metallic appearance to it that I really like, it's easier to see in the Green one over the Black that's why most of my pictures cover it more than the Black colored one.

There are 2 power levels on the Endura with a color LED ring at the base showing the power level, with a twist of the base you are able to switch between levels, the base LED lights up when the fire button is pressed as well. The power levels are color coded making it easy to check your level.

    GREEN - ( Low 3.6v - 14.5w )

    Red - ( High 3.85v - 16.5w )

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

Like I said in the opening statement it's been a while using a tube styled device and this was a nice change of pace. First off the appearance is very nice with the perfect matching of the tanks cage with the mods color.

Sometimes with tube styles devices it's difficult to locate the fire button without looking for it because it's recessed or flat with the mod but this fire button has just enough of a rise that I had no problem locating it through feel without looking for it.

The feel is very responsive and has fired each time on both devices, I like the bright LED surrounding the fire button showing the strength of the battery which really last a very long time, battery management is done very well on the Endura.

Twisting the bottom cap for power adjustment is very easy to do and it has just the right amount of resistance to it however I couldn't really tell that much of a difference between the 2 settings.

I always use 2 juices that I know and use daily for MTL atomizers to gage how well they deliver on flavor and on both coils the flavor was there but not very intense and some of the flavor notes were missing as well, still all in all I had my flavor coming through but not what I'm used to from both of my ADV juices.

I also didn't notice a very big difference from the preinstalled 0.9Ω to the 0.8Ω 2nd coil provided in the kit although I preferred the 0.8Ω more. Hand fit and feel is great being just the right size.

I think this kit would be a great choice for someone quitting smoking cigarettes to start there journey into transitioning to vaping.

I would like to thank Nicole and Innokin for sending the Endura Apex kits for the purpose of my review and I hope I answered all your questions about it.

    THANK YOU
