Hello friends and welcome back for today's review of the Coolfire PZ Pulse Kit from INNOKIN. The Coolfire PZ Pulse is a IP-68 rated device that is shockproof, waterproof and dustproof. A 2400mAh internal battery is housed inside with a maximum power output of 80 watts, this is a wattage only device that is tailored for the RDL or DL vaper. A nice feature of the Coolfire PZ Pulse is it has a lock switch that locks all the buttons on the device for worry free pocket carry or sitting in a handbag.

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The packaging of this device is nothing fancy but it's nicely done with a inner box that slides out from a outer sleeve. The device with the pod rest in a pre cut piece of foam with the user manual, charge cord, safety guide and 2nd coil 0.2Ω laying under the slotted foam cut out.

I really like the appearance and colors that were sent for my review, they are done in a somewhat matt finish that leave no fingerprints after holding the device. I thought this would be a brick weight wise with it having a IP-68 rating but it's not very heavy nor is it lightweight, for me it falls in the goldy locks realm of being just right.

The spine of the device is wrapped in leather with some give to it but it's very cushy, PZ PULSE is lightly embossed on the color matching leather. There is a protective sticker on the display screen to protect the screen while it is shipped.

Another nice surprise was finding a silicone rubber bottom on the device the prevents scratching of tables or your desk, I wish all devices had that. I started to charge both devices but found out they were shipped with a full charge of 100%.

Controls are on the face of the device with the fire button being at the top and the adjustment buttons being at the bottom above the USB-C charge port. INNOKIN even made the buttons as well as the lock switch located on one side of the device the same color as the device itself (nice touch). Even the silicone rubber bottom is the same color as the device.

There really is no menu to speak of but to adjust the timeout of the display you access it by pressing and holding the adjustment button simultaneously, you can also clear the puff counter by pressing and holding the fire and up button simultaneously.

This by no means a MTL setup with it's airflow being very airy and a bit noisy but very smooth, there are dual top airflow slots that can be tightened down for a good RDL vape or used wide open for a DL vape, the airflow is fully adjustable so everyone should find their sweet spot. Filling the lightly tinted 5.5ml pod is a breeze with the top fill port that has a large opening.

The lock switch works just fine with the up position being unlocked, when unlocked the display screen shows a open padlock symbol, when locked the open padlock is replaced with a locked padlock that is highlighted in Red, each time the switch is moved locked or unlocked is shown on the display screen. The display screen is pretty straight forward showing a battery bar at the top, below it is the current lock/unlock setting and battery percentage. Wattage is displayed in large numerals with current puffs below it, at the bottom is Ohm's of the coil being used and the volts.

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

I have to say I really like the Coolfire PZ Pulse for many reasons, first is the flavor that is good and second is that I get a very nice warm vape from both coils. The airflow is a bit noisy but surprising very smooth at any setting.

The 510 drip tip is very comfortable and can be replace with one of your own if you wish to do so. The top fill works great and is in a great location, just a flick of the thumb opens it. The fill port is large enough for any sized bottle tip and the drip can stay in place when filling with 100ml bottles.

I have to mention the strength of the pod magnet before I forget ( VERY STRONG ). I'm very careful with my devices but I have a cat that just loves to knock my mods down when they are sitting on my coffee table so I can tell you both of these devices have been knocked over about 20 or 30 times with no issues, even though they have a IP-68 rating I'm not going to try and destroy them because of the fact that ( I LIKE THEM TO MUCH ).

I give the Coolfire PZ Pulse a 100% recommendation and I would like to thank Alisa and INNOKIN for providing these devices, I also would like to thank all of you that read my reviews.

    THANK YOU
