I'm thinking Strawberry Creamsicle

I'm placing an order today (need bottles and more flavorings) and I'd like to do a mix to come up with "Strawberry Creamsicle" so I would like to include some additional flavorings that you suggest to achieve a good recipe.

My initial recipe:

Ripe Strawberry (TFA) 5%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (Cap?) 4%
Sweet Cream (Cap) 2%
Marshmallow (Cap) 1%

Is this enough Strawberry? Do I need more sweetener? I like sweet (like the natural sweetness of a Delicious Apple). So far the only additional flavor I would need is the VBIC, and I will be ordering that regardless because I will be mixing some single flavor batches and this will be one of them.

Anyhow, as a follow-up to my Butterscotch recipe (Butterscotch, Sweet Cream, Marshmallow): it smells yummy, has a slight sharpness when tasted and vapes very mild at this point. Thanks for your help on that one. I will try it again tomorrow and perhaps make some adjustments.

Any comments or suggestions appreciated.

I would use more than one type of strawberry (maybe the one by flavor art or the one sweet strawberry by capella). Adds depth and complexity. And a tad bit of blueberry (tfa) would make the strawberry more pronounced. The rest of the recipe seems fine to me although I use mostly TFA for VBIC and sweet cream.

Thanks Tamer. I just watched the DIY or DIE on youtube discussing the different strawberry flavors and I understand your comment on an additional strawberry.

I currently have a mix with 80vg/20pg and Ripe Strawberry. It is a mild flavor.

I did not see anything on the differences in the VBIC. But I do have some blueberry on the way and I can include that.

And your wanting it sweet..

Get some TFA sweetener and use it at like 1%


Also if your trying to make it cold like then get some TFA Koolada.

I agree with the above to combine different strawberries..

So get TFA strawberry,cap sweet strawberry, and inawera shisha strawberry and find a ratio that works the best for your taste.

I would also add either/both TFA diary milk or TFA malted milk to fill in the gaps and complete the recipe..

Something like this

TFA ripe strawberry 3%
Caps sweet strawberry 6%

For a cold vape add Koolada 3 drops per 15ml.

Ooh, sounds really good Adam. So I will need to order the sweet strawberry, malted milk and dairy milk as a minimum and build on my arsenal of strawberry flavorings overall. I'm sure I'll have other interesting recipes to make use of these additional ingredients.
I may make a couple of test batches in fact to compare what I originally had and with your suggested recipe to see how the different flavors compare. Initially the Marshmallow was included because I didn't have any other sweetener.

I have an Orange Creamsickle that I prefer.b. just for the memories of long ago. I think most fruit flavors will work.

Or, a Strawbana cream sickle. Easily on the banana I suspect.

just curious to why you say no to the marshmallow?

I've been mixing for a few years ... have always used marshmallow instead of sweetener.

IMO, sweetener = coil gunker.

IMO, sweetener = coil gunker.

Marshmallow doesn't give the sugary sweetness that sweetener gives imo. Ymmv
