Seriously folks... "Made for nic salt" gimmick aside, this is a truly fantastic MTL tank, and the smallest one I've ever seen to boot(only 18mm in diameter, yet still holds 2ml of liquid)

I've owned a few MTL RTAs, from a kayfun 3, 4, a Berserker and a Siren V2, and this tank can throw punches with the best of 'em.

I won't deny that it has a few fiddly points, as most tanks tend to. The Salt RTA tank suffers from a small problem just by design... Its size. Rebuilding and rewicking is a smidge fiddly as a result. For example, making spaced coils is a little tricky because the diameter of the build deck only allows for so much room to build AND wick. It can be done, just not nearly as easily as on other tanks of larger sizes.

Despite that, I still squeezed a 2.5mm coil in there without much issue and it's vaping like a champ! Anyone who misses some of the older mtl tank sizes, but doesn't want to give up rebuilding... This tank is was literally made for you.

Not that I feel like I SHOULD have to say this (if you're rebuilding, you have at least a basic grasp on how vaping works, I presume), but obviously this tank is just fine for both free base juice and nic salts. Whatever floats your boat!

Not a ton of attention being paid to this tank, so I figured I would help spread the word! Thanks for listening to me drone on lol

Just to give off a basic size comparison, this is a joyetech ego one V2 XL battery (wrapped in electric tape for grip lol). The first pic is the Siren V2(mini version... Not even the full size!) And the second pic is the coilart salt on the same battery

The deck is... Tiny, as can be imagined. The juice wells and method of cotton tucking remind my of the Berserker, but it is slightly raised as well (less so than the Siren V2, but raised nonetheless), making flooding when top filling far less likely. And even still, it's low enough that it can be opened and worked on with over 90% of the juice still inside.

The other major note to name is that, while you may need to worry about coil size/orientation when building in order to prevent contact with the deck cover, the posts are inwards and allow a lot more room for error when trimming leads.

This is a true MTL tank... No "restricted lung hits" from this puppy. I don't know the exact airhole measurements, but it's very comparable to the Berserker as far as it's range of settings goes, if you've ever used that tank before

No I havent.. I have used the Siren 2.. which air hole would be comparable on that one?

I'd say the largest airhole on the salt seems to be around the second largest hole on the siren v2

Although I DID forget that the entire airflow ring can be removed just by sliding it off from the bottom. Doing so gives a loose, but still very much MTL draw... Maybe akin to about the 3 or 4 smallest holes on the Siren v2 being open at once

I’ll wait till it comes down in price, and maybe a few more reviews.:) I really like the size of it.

Do keep an eye out, but I personally wouldn't wait too long... This tank really hasn't been getting much publicity or YouTube love, and you know how quickly non-popular vape products get discontinued. Hope you do find a stellar deal on it though!

Also, @Opinionated any time! Glad I could be of help

I got this a while ago to try out nic salts. After a few tanks and trying out the different coils I came to the realisation I don't particularly like nic salts. It sat on the shelf for a while then one day I decided to just put in normal eliquid, I wish I had done so sooner! I'm enjoying it immensely now, flavour is incredible! Probably due to the small chamber. I do find coils get gunked up very quickly though, I'm guessing due to low airflow and the very small amount of cotton you need. I've paired mine with an eleaf amnis which makes for a very stealthy setup, my go to for out and about

Damn, that actually looks really spiffy as a combo! I have the batpack coming in the mail, and I intend to try a .5 ohm build on this baby to see if it works well with it

I don't care much for salts, but they work good when I first wake up lol. But free base juice works perfectly fine... I have a feeling that's part of why this tank hasn't caught on.

As far as gunk and rewicking goes, I was having a lot of trouble with that and am still "feeling out" the tank, so to speak. So far I've found that going down to a 2mm 28ga spaced kanthal gives fairly good results... The coil/cotton has actually lasted me a full day(I chain vape) doing that without burning the wick or overly gunking up the coil... But looking at it, I'm not sure how much longer it'll last. Juice consumption seems to have slightly increased as well
