What other brands and flavors should I try.

I haven't tried that one but if it's anything like the camel frost then it's really sweet. Swedish snus isn't really sweet like the American SNUS. A couple of favorites with beginners is usually general mini mint and thunder frost minis.

As hittman said american snus tends towards the very sweet while Swedish snus is salty with a few exceptions. It's very common for beginning snus users to like the sweet or overly flavored type, but with more experience most people move to the more traditional plain tobacco and bergamot snus. In the meantime you also could try discreet snus which is made in the US. It is sweet but many feel it's better then camel.

The Northerner, US Snus

A big problem with american snus is the low nicotine content. It's just not very satisfying, and speaking for myself I would have found it very difficult to quit smoking using american snus. On the other hand it was very easy to quit smoking with swedish snus. In general US snus is for "those times when you can't smoke" while the swedish snus is a complete replacement for smoking.

I like the camel mellow myself, but I do find it overly sweet. It has the idea of a tobacco flavor to it, I think. The general mini mints are very good, that's what I normally use. If you aren't wanting the mint though, you might try the new(ish) mini portions General has. You may like them. As the others said, Swedish snus isn't going to anywhere close to as sweet though. Once you try it, you may like it a lot better. To me, Swedish snus is just a whole different animal from US snus. Now that I've gotten used to Swedish, I won't hardly touch the US stuff, with the exception of Discreet strawberry. That's tasty! My husband, otoh, can't stomach Swedish stuff and has to have his camel. Maybe the Discreet full flavor would work for you. I think I have two mellow portions left from a can I bougth 2 or 3 weeks ago. I use it for a change up from Swedish, but I don't hate it or think it would keep me off cigs. Oh, I bought it when I forgot my normal assorted can, It's like "Use anywhere when you don't have real snus" (for me).
