Have any of you made a juice that tastes like Swisher Sweets or seen a recipe that is supposed to be close to the taste? My dad said he would be willing to give ecigs a shot if they had a flavor like that. Please help if you have any ideas because I would love to see him quit smoking. I have several different tobacco flavors and I have made a black and mild, but from what I remember a Black & Mild is not like a Swisher Sweet. Thanks in advance.

I made a cigar juice but the cherry is to strong. Is there anyway to cover up the cherry flavor?

Only way I know of would be to add more of the "non-cherry" flavors you put in it, to dilute the amount of cherry.

The cherry cigar from Totally Wicked is good, and it reminds me of a Swisher Sweet, but to be honest, I haven't had an SS in years. There may too much cherry in that for you. I have some of the TW cigar flavors, but I haven't had a chance to blend them with the cherry cigar to reduce the amount of cherry I'm tasting.

I am not against order flavors from vendors and mixing them to get what I want, but I would love to do it with flavors I bought for diy. I am scared that if I start ordering from vendors again I will go back into my old ways and be getting their stuff instead of making my own.

For what it's worth, when I mentioned the TW flavors, I was talking about the flavor concentrates for DIY, not the pre-mixed ready to go liquids. They still give you the ability to mix to your liking while saving money.

Some may see it as taking the easy way out by not working with half a dozen different flavors and top notes to make up one final flavor. For those of us who don't have a chef's palate, it can eliminate a lot of frustration.

You could try to extract the flavor right from the swisher sweets. I have done this with other tobacco based products (Marb lights, cigars etc). Break two of them up, place in a small container, cover with PG, place plastic wrap or a lid over it. Let it sit for 7-10 days then strain through a coffee filter. Resulting liquid concentrate can be used to make a DIY juice. It will not be as strong as flavor extracts and I found I need to mix these extractions at around 20 - 25%. Anyway just a thought for you and not much $$$$ to invest to try it. Best of luck

I would say you best shot would be to extract the flavor from the SS as stated above.
I have done it with Captain Black and Black&Mild with great results.

I used 3 Heaping table spoons in 60ml of PG. place in a pot, heat just before boiling. Let cool to room temperature and place in a glass container for 3 days. Filter the extract through a coffee filter and put in your own bottles. That's it!

I generally get 30ml of extract and find it good flavor at 10% to 12% (I like strong Flavors). Use some Vape Wizard to mute the bitterness. For the SS or B&M a touch of sweetener should put you enjoying without the smoke.

Good Luck

Does getting it almost to a boil put off a strong smell? My wife wouldn't like the smell in the house.

I didn't go near a boil, just watch it really closely and when you start to see wafts of steam stir it for a bit and take it off the heat. Use a very low heat and take your time heating it up. There will be some smell but not very strong and if you can crack a window or door there shouldn't be a problem.

regards
