If you have NO back up PV, you are eligible to enter this contest. I mean NOTHING...you have one PV (perhaps your starter kit) and if you lose one battery or the charger you're up a creek.

If this describes YOUR vaping situation...post what you're vaping with as your entry.

PIF member marcielynn has been so kind to MAKE and donate TWO mods (510 threaded) and matching drip tips for this contest!

Along with marcielynn's generous donations, the PIF mods have donated for each winner:
1 dual slot charger
2 14500 batteries
1 LR atomizer
1 LR cartomizer
2 blank round 510 cartridges
1 30ml bottle of liquid (1 is tobacco, 1 is menthol...both are VG and 18mg. Winners will have to decide who gets what)

These mods are 3.7v, using 2 14500's side by side for DOUBLE THE 14500 900mAh BATTERY LIFE = 1800mAh! And they have a master on/off switch for pocket/purse/backpack...whatever...safety. :)
If you honestly don't have a back up PV, enter now! :D

While this contest is running, I'd like to see some posts/links on where to find good deals on back up/emergency kits. If you've found something you think is a good deal and would make a good back up/emergency PV, please share with us! :D

Here's a nice deal from Good Prophets: GP901 Automatic Kit

I have no backup and I am actually about to lose my CHUCK.I have none of my batteries from my DSE-901 starter kit left, they got ruined and I have to send my chuck in for a button repair and will be without for a week, hopefully only a week. I have two batteries for it and a 10 buck charger that doesn't like to work if it isn't wrapped with a rubber band. thank you for being so awesome my fellow pif members.

Here's a newbie question, would it be a better idea for someone to get additional batteries / chargers in case anything happened, or to get an entirely different device?

If you have, say, a 510 device and want to try a different mod, then just try to get another 510 threaded one, so your atty's. carto's, etc. can be used on both. Before I got my 1st VV mod, I had like 6 Ego batteries and actually still use those when I am at work.

NOT AN ENTRY :)

I was going to enter this contest as I only have my 3.7v Foxy Box mod left to me, my son got my FS eGo set when I got my box mod. It got him to quit cigs so I didn't mind. I won a FS510 kit in one of Randall's contests but I gifted my wife with that and she won't even let me have the extra batt! After reading mfraz25's post though I think she's in much more dire straits than I, if my box mod went down altogether I think I could talk my wife into letting me borrow a batt till I could get something else.

Thanks marcielynn for your generosity and all the other wonderful people on ECF for their kindness.

I only have my wonderful Riva, but I've already gone down to only one battery because I'm waiting for the company to replace my second battery that was under warranty when it died. :( I've been out several times now when my battery has died and I've had no backup. I would love to win so that I don't have that problem anymore, especially since I'll be in school full-time next month. :)

Great thread!!!! I knew marcilynne was a gem!!

This is not an entry

Id like to recommend the vp1. Its near cigarette size, you can recharge the batteries (10440), comes in ss & is well worth the price compared to an ego or riva,& it will never die as long as your batteties are charged. If i remember right, its like $50 ( close to the price of ego or riva kit, but won't die)
You can get these at http://vaprlife.com.

Id post in link format, but I'm on my phone. I wish i knew about the vp1 way back when. I carry mine along with my reo.:)

Excellent way to pif marcilynne!
You made some fabulous looking mods there!!

great PIF Marcilynne!!

This is not an entry, as I have 3 Riva Batteries. BUT- realized last week when I was out town that I only have ONE charger- and I swore the minute I got home I was gonna get another- I didnt and you just reminded me I need to buy another one.

So THANK YOU!!

Well, I use a go-go... I have the two batteries that came with the kit :)
My husband has three V4L batteries... 2 used to be mine....
We both started with V2 but gave them to Mom-in-Law... So, we have NO backups here..

But regardless if we win or not... as soon as we find a new place to live (we have to move ASAP) we are ordering some batteries!!!

Good luck to everyone, and thank you for such a generous contest!!!

That's an excellent question. :)

IMO, everyone needs a back up that USB charges.

Aceofvapes has a USB charge box mod:

eGo PT is a good choice as well:

As far as back up kits go,if you want to buy something inexpensive that works well you might consider the FS 510 kits (Joye clone) that myPVshop.com sells. I mentioned it in my first post here. I won one of these kits in one of Randall's contests and gave it to my wife and it works very well and she likes it. You can get it with either automatic batteries or manual or a combination of the two in several colors. The kit is only $19.79 +shipping when you use the code ECF10. My first PV was a FS eGo that my son now has and he loves it and those kits are very reasonable too. Randall is a wonderful supplier that ships fast, answers all questions promptly and stands behind the products he sells.
