Hey everyone! I am new to vaping and also to the forum. I started on this road when a friend of mine at work that I used to go out on smoke breaks with showed me her e-cig kit. I took a couple puffs, felt the nic, and loved the flavor ( I think it was sticky bun or something). Thats when I started talking to my wife about it. She also smokes. Ive been smoking for 7 years @ anywhere between a pack and a half to a half pack a day and have been struggling to quit for the last 4 years. I started out with a couple of nicoteks that were given to my wife and I by someone that she works with. Right away I was in love. Satisfying my craving, tasting better, smelling better, and less expensive. The nicoteks however, being what they are, broke. The batteries crapped the bed on me (maybe I got ejuice in them on accident). I was bummed, but everything happens for a reason because I then ordered the Volt and I couldn't be happier. Much much better vapor production. I prefer vaping a higher VG mix, and I love my sweet flavors. I started at the 24 mg level just to be safe. I figured if I started at a higher nic I would be less likely to supplement with an actual ciggerette. My wife and I are now happily vaping away with nice sealed batteries as to not repeat our battery mishap. While waiting for our new e ciggs, I did smoke some tobacco ciggerettes and it was very unsatisfying because it tasted gross. I'm thinking that in the short time with the nicoteks my taste buds healed. Anyway, its great to be here and I just wanted to share our story and say hello to everyone!! :)

Hi ArchEnemy welcome, good call with the Volt. I find that part of the enjoyment of vaping is i still get to hang around with the smoke break crowd at work. It is quite an eye opener though, being amongst a group of smokers and realising how bad tobacco smoke smells now that i have gotten a sense of smell back after 25 years of smoking.

Gruuv, I totally agree! My brother came over o my house today and he is a wicked chain smoker... It took me at least a half an hour to become desensitized from the smell radiating from his clothing!! Its crazy how fast our body can rebound from years of smoke beatings. Also I agree with vapur monkey, its nice that I can still keep the social aspect and have that time with my smokey friends to shoot the breeze at work on "smoke breaks". And yes, I love my volt. I don't see any need to get any other PV, but by the looks of it most people end up being collectors.

They are great but at first your bank account will cry as i have found out 1 E-power and a Roughstack countless bottles of juice and flavors carts tanks and attys after only a month into vaping and i think i have spent 2x the amount i would have on analogs but the wife no longer says she hates the way my car or i smell after smoking its all WELL worth it all. i have tried about 20 flavors and so far i tend to stick with my vanilla cola and butterscotch cookie nothing better than vaping my after dinner desert.
