How to use the Hammer of God V2?

Hey guys so got my hands on a Hammer of God V2 mech mod. Im well experinced in mech mods but this is my first full mechanical with adjustable negatives and 510 etc. Anyone out there who owns one able to help me out. I put my HB2's in and tightened but nothing. Im thinking the 510 is my problem. It's a real ..... to screw in these massive atties. does it matter how far up or down the 510 is so long as it's touching the atty? Any set up advice would be great. Cheers

Hey, I've got the hammer and to answer your question, as long as the 510 is touching the atty u should be fine. My problem with the hammer is it damaging the batteries bc of the way u have to tighten them with the screws at the bottom. I find that I have to crank them a little too far for my comfort level for them not to rattle.
I have dented the tops of 4 batteries bc of this. It's a poor design in my opinion.

Hey, so i figured out the issue. Was just the locking switch haha. But thanks for telling me about the batteries i didn't even think about it and i just checked and yup, indented. Gutted to because it's my 4 hb2's which are my go to for all high wattage vaping. It's probably ok but im now wary of using them in certain mods

I have 3 HoGs = Fanboy.

They can be finicky (hard on battery connection points, deep 510 recess with short center screw, hot post to switch connection prone to misalignment among the consistent problems), but where else can we get 5000 mAh at 8.4 vDC?
